Terms and Conditions – Win $1,000 Every Day for 20 Days
The Marketplace Gungahlin (“Promoter”) will award one thousand dollars ($1,000) in a
combination of Woolworths, Big W and Kmart Gift Cards every day for twenty days from
Saturday 26 November to Thursday 15 December 2016 (“Promotion Period”). $1000 in Gift
Cards will be given away each day, $20,000 being the total amount during the Promotion
Period. $13,200 in Woolworths and Big W vouchers will be given away, $6,800 in Kmart
vouchers. Gift Card denomination is $200 x 5. To enter, customers of The Marketplace
Gungahlin (“Customers”) make any purchase from any retailer at Marketplace Gungahlin
(during the promotional period), ask for their uniquely coded entry card and enter on line
www.marketplacegungahlin.com.au. Prize is to be collected by the winner from Centre
Management Office within 3 months of being advised or a redraw will occur and a new
winner announced.
The period for eligible participation is 26 November 2016 to 15 December 2016 inclusive. A
$1,000 Gift Card prize will be awarded every day for 20 days with the daily winner
determined at 9am the following day at Vinta Head Office, 264 George Street, Sydney.
Winners will be notified via email and telephone by 11am the day of the draw. The first draw
will take place on Monday 28 November which will announce two winners – one for Saturday
26 November and one for Sunday 27 November. The last winner will be selected and
announced at 9am on Friday 16 December.
Winners will be determined via a random drawing of qualified participants. Odds of winning
are determined by number of participants. The winner is drawn from participants specific to
a single shopping day within the 20 day period. Customers may shop and enter as many
times as they like however there can only be one entry per purchase (unique code can only
be entered once).
Eligible participants cannot be an employee of Marketplace Gungahlin. Employees of
Centre Management and their families are not eligible to enter.
The Promoter is not liable for any issue, damage, cost, or liability arising from items purchased
with the Woolworths, Big W and Kmart Gift Cards.
By accepting the Woolworths, Big W and Kmart Gift Cards, the Winners agree to allow
Marketplace Gungahlin to publish their first name and suburb on the Promoter’s Facebook
page
Liability
1. The Promoter and any of its associated companies accept no responsibility for any loss
or damage whatsoever which is suffered [including but not limited to indirect or
consequential loss] or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a consequence of
the use and enjoyment of any item gained via the prize except for any liability which
cannot be excluded by law.
2. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the
prize winnings or the use thereof. It is the responsibility of each entrant to seek
independent advice on the possible implications this may have on their own financial
situation.
3. Unless due to fraud or ineligibility under these Terms and Conditions, all valid prize claims
in excess of the advertised prize pool value will be honoured.
4. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned including infection
by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures
or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupts or affects the
administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, then it will
be suspended subject to the approval of gaming authorities in ACT, where required.
5. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry
process and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to the
approval of the gaming authorities where required.
6. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Promotion and not award the prize(s)
where circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control prevent the Promoter from
providing the prize(s). Should the Promoter cancel the Promotion the Promoter will:
a. Advertise that the Promotion has been cancelled by placing a notice at the
Centre Management Office and on Marketplace Gungahlin’s website;
b. Not use the personal information you have provided.
7. If all or any part of any term or condition contained in these Terms and Conditions shall
be declared or become unenforceable, invalid or illegal for any reason, such term or
provision [or part thereof] shall be deemed severed from these Conditions of Entry and
the other terms and conditions hereof shall remain in full force.
8. By entering the promotion you give the Promoter consent to use your personal
information for further purposes and promotions unless you state in writing otherwise.
9. Participation in the Promotion implies acceptance of all conditions of entry.
