TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Win a culinary experience in Lake Como, Italy competition
Conditions of Entry
1. Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions. Entry into the promotion constitutes the
entrants’ acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. Entry is only open to Australian and New Zealand residents 18 years and over. Employees (and their immediate
families) of the Promoter, and agencies associated, are ineligible to enter. Extended family members are
authorised to participate.
3. Independent Consultants, Group Leaders and Branch Managers of the Promoter, and their immediate
families, are ineligible to enter. Extended family members are authorised to participate.
4. The promotion commences at 8am (AEST) on 9 January 2017 and closes at 11pm (AEST) on 30 April 2017. The
time of entry will in each case be the time the qualifying Cooking Experience is held by the entrant. The Promoter
accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected Cooking Experience bookings not received by the
Promoter or delays in the delivery due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason beyond
the reasonable control of the Promoter.
5. To enter, participants must:
a. Hold a qualifying Cooking Experience from 8am (AEST) 9 January 2017 until 11pm (AEST) on 30 April
2017. A qualifying Cooking Experience is an experience where there are at least three (3) separate
households present.6. Each entrant will receive one entry into the draw for each qualifying Cooking Experience held during the
promotional timeframe.
7. Promotion excludes Individual or one-on-one Cooking Experiences.
8. There will be one winner chosen at random and to be deemed the winner, the entrant must satisfy the criteria in
clause 5.
9. The draw will take place at 3pm (AEST), Thursday 4 May 2017 at 30 Ledgar Road, Balcatta,
Perth WA 6021.
10. The winner will be contacted on 5 May 2017 via phone and email. Once the winner has been
contacted, their first name and state will be published on
www.thermomix.com.au and
www.thermomix.co.nz within
30 days of the final draw.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of identity, proof of residency and/or
proof of entry validity in order to claim their prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable
for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that the winner cannot provide suitable proof, the
winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
12. Prize: There will be one (1) prize awarded with a total maximum prize value of up to $15,000. The prize
includes:
a. Return economy airfares to Milan (Italy) for two people from an Australian or New Zealand capital city in
September 2017.
b. Airport transfers between the Milan airport and accommodation.
c. Seven (7) nights accommodation at Lake Como
d. $3,000 (AU) spending money
e. A choice of food experiences to attend at the winner’s discretion (to be finalised in February 2017).
13. Prize conditions:
a. Final value of trip is based on approximate departure date selected by the Promoter with no refunds,
credits, substitutions, additional items or transfers permitted based on variations in trip price related to
final departure date. Travel period is expected to be between 15 – 22 September 2017.
b. Prize has no cash value and cannot be transferred or refunded.
c. Once trip departure date has been booked, any changes to the booking will incur a fee payable by
the winner.

provided, optional activities, room service, mobile or fax bills, laundry or any other items not outlined in the
details of the prize in section 12.
14. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize is not
exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry which, in the
opinion of the Promoter, includes objectionable content, profanity, potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory
statements, disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in
accordance with these Terms & Conditions of entry or who has, in the opinion of the Promoter, engaged in conduct
in entering the promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging the goodwill or
reputation of the competition and/or Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify a winner if the
Promoter becomes aware that the winner and/or the winner’s entry is of a type described in this clause.
16. The Promoter shall not be liable for any costs, expenses, loss or damage or for any personal injury suffered or
sustained by the participant in connection with acceptance of the prize or associated travel and accommodation,
except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. You are also responsible for any loss or damage caused by
you to other persons or property in the course of your participation, travel and accommodation, and you indemnify
the Promoter for any claims made against the Promoter in respect of such loss or damage. Because travel
involves many risks, and our liability to you is limited, you may choose to purchase travel insurance, which can
cover things like medical and hospital expenses, personal injury, and delayed, damaged or lost baggage.
17. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or
hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of
God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the promotion and recommence it from
the start on the same conditions subject to applicable legislation.
18. The Promoter is Thermomix in Australia Pty Ltd ABN 88 069 944 930 30 Ledgar Road, Balcatta WA
6021.
19. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion and uses and stores this
personal information in accordance with Australian privacy laws. The Promoter’s Privacy Policy is available on our
website [www.thermomix.com.au]. Entry is conditional upon providing this information. The Privacy Policy
contains information about why we collect personal information, how entrants may opt out, access, update or
correct their personal information, how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian privacy laws and
how those complaints will be dealt with. In addition to any uses outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the
Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing,
publicity and research purposes without notice, or any compensation to the entrant. The Promoter may disclose
personal information to Vorwerk International Mittelsten Scheid & Co in Germany. By entering this competition and
providing personal information, you consent to the terms of our Privacy Policy and for the Promoter to use the
personal information provided to contact you.
