3.3 COMPETITION ENTRY: In order to enter the Competition, viewers must either:

3.4 For SMS entrants, each entry must be charged to a mobile account. SMS entries deemed at the Promoter’s absolute discretion to have been made via the internet, computer generation or “scripting” are invalid and will not be accepted.
3.5 Entries must be received by the date and times stated in clause 3.1. The time of entry will in each case be the time the SMS message or 1902 telephone call is received by the Ansible Pty Ltd database.
3.6 SMS entrants will receive a reply message to their entry.
3.7 Each SMS entry will be charged at premium rate, namely $0.55 (including GST), which covers the entry and
the reply message.
3.8 The maximum 1902 call cost is $0.55 (including GST). 1902 call costs will be higher from mobile phones.
3.9 Entrants may enter the Competition as many times as they like and are entitled to win more than one prize
throughout the Competition.
4. PRIZES
4.1 There will be four (4) home viewer prize winners and one (1) bonus cash prize winner drawn in total from the national pool of 1902 and SMS entrants. One (1) home viewer prize winner will be drawn at the conclusion of each registration period as per the table stipulated in clause 3.1 and one (1) bonus cash prize winner will be drawn at the conclusion of the Competition. The first valid entry drawn from this pool for each draw will be deemed the relevant winner and will go on to receive the prize detailed in Clause 4.2.
4.2 The winners of draws 1 – 4 will win the total amount of money in the My Kitchen Rules contestants’ ‘bank’ (for clarity, this is the amount won by the contestants by winning the Final Chase against The Chaser) at the end of the final game during The Chase My Kitchen Rules Special Program that corresponds to the Competition Registration Period listed in clause 3.1. For example, the winner of draw 1 will win the amount of money that remains in the ‘bank’ at the end of The Chase My Kitchen Rules Special broadcast on Thursday 16 February 2017 (the date of play stated in clause 3.1). The total maximum prize value is up to AUD $139,000. The minimum prize value is AUD $4,000. If there is no money in the ‘bank’ in the final game of any The Chase My Kitchen Rules Special that goes to air during the competition period, the winner for that particular draw will win the minimum prize of $1,000. The home viewer winner of each draw will be announced in a spot that goes to air during The Chase My Kitchen Rules Special that correlates to that particular draw or registration period.
The winner of the bonus cash prize will win AUD $50,000.
4.3 The maximum prize pool value that can be won is AUD $189,000. The minimum prize pool value is AUD
$54,000.
Winners will receive the prize dollars in one lump sum in the form of a cheque; made payable to the eligible prize winner, within 28 days of the draw and only after proof of age and identity has been verified by the Promoter.
4.4 In accepting the prize, the winners agrees to participate in and co-operate with all reasonable media editorial requests, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, and the winners grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.5 Prize winners agree they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.
4.6 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the Promoter’s requirements.
4.7 Prize winners must provide valid identification to the Promoter.
4.8 The prize cannot be transferred.
4.9 The Promoter may require prize winners to sign a waiver of liability and indemnity in the form determined by
the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
4.10 Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.
4.11 The promoter may vary these terms and conditions at its discretion, subject to state government legislation.

5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 There will be four (4) home viewer prize winners drawn from the national pool of 1902 and SMS entrants,
one winner for each registration period, who will win the home viewer prize detailed in clause 4.2.
5.2 There will be one (1) bonus cash prize winner drawn from the national pool of 1902 and SMS entrants
throughout the entire Competition period who will win the bonus cash prize detailed in clause 4.2
5.3 Each entrant who has entered the Competition in accordance with these terms and conditions during the Competition Period and registered an entry using methods detailed in clause 3 required by the date and times detailed in clause 3.1 and provided the relevant codeword and required personal details via SMS or phone (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be entered into the prize draw. Entries that do not comply with any of the terms and conditions, may be deemed invalid and a further prize draw will be conducted in its place. The draws will take place at Ansible Pty Ltd, Level 1, 16 Anster Street, Adelaide, South Australia 5000 on the dates and times specified in clause 3.1.
5.4 The home viewer prize winners will be announced on air during The Chase My Kitchen Rules Special on the date of play relevant to the prize winner’s registration period and will be contacted by a phone call from the marketing department within two working days of the draw. A letter will also be express posted to the prize winners confirming their prize. The winners’ entry details will be published in the Public Notes section of The Australian newspaper on Monday 20 March 2017.

5.6 The Promoter may in its absolute discretion deem entries invalid subsequently to a winner being notified or a winner’s name being announced if it is discovered that the winner did not enter the Competition in accordance with these terms and conditions. In these circumstances, no additional draw will be conducted. Subject to state government legislation, and if required, an unclaimed prize draw will take place on Thursday 8 June 2017 at 10:00 AEST at Ansible Pty Ltd, Level 1, 16 Anster Street, Adelaide, South Australia 5000. Winner(s) will be notified by mail and their details published in the Public Notes section of The Australian newspaper on Monday 12 June 2017 if required. If required, the new home viewer prize winner(s) will be awarded the unclaimed prize money amount that was originally won, whether that be the amount in the ‘bank’ at the conclusion of The Chase My Kitchen Rules Special that went to air or the consolation prize amount of AUD $1,000 if no money was in the bank at the end of that particular episode. The new bonus cash prize winner would win the unclaimed AUD $50,000.
5.7 The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
5.8 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form
determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Competition on any of the dates detailed in clause 3.1 and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to breaking news and current affairs, vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to state government legislation.
6.2 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Ansible Pty Ltd, and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
6.3 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Ansible Pty Ltd, and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
a) whilst undertaking any travel won on or connected with their entry into the Competition; or
b) in the acceptance or participation in any prize;
c) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
d) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the Competition or the publication of any material,
including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any
other person.
e) in relation to failure of an SMS entry message to be received by the Promoter on account of
technical problems or traffic congestion; or
f) in relation to any damage or loss to Entrant's or any other person's computer software, computer
equipment or internet connection resulting from or related to participation in this Promotion;
g) any variation in Prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;
h) any technical difficulties, technical error or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the
Promoter’s control); or any error, omission, interruption, deletion, delay, defect, theft, unauthorised
access or third party interference.
6.4 Seven Network (Operations) Limited assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion,
defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available, subject to state government legislation.
6.5 If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to state government legislation.
