Terms & Conditions – Paw Patrol Live

This competition (the “Promotion”) is conducted by Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Australia Pty Limited ABN 39 152 425 735 of Level 30, 1 Market Street, Sydney, NSW 2000 (the “Promoter”).
Entry to the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. By entering the Promotion, entrants accept and acknowledge full responsibility for their decision to participate in the Promotion and to take the Prize if they are the winner.
1. All entry instructions and prize information published by the Promoter form part of these Terms and Conditions.
2. The Promotion is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years or over. The Promoter reserves the right to request any entrant to provide documentary evidence confirming his/her age. Employees and immediate families of Universal Sony and their associated companies and agents and the immediate families of such employees are not eligible to enter the Promotion.
3. The Promotion commences at 12:00hrs (EST) on Monday 13 March 2017, and ends at 23:45hrs (EST) on Thursday 30 March, 2017.
4. The Promotion is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining a winner.
5. Entrance to the Promotion is via The Viewing Lounge (https://theviewinglounge.com.au/pawpatrollive/) and requires entrants to answer on the competition page telling us in 25 words or less tell you who your child’s favourite Paw Patrol character is and why?
6. The Competition Question answers will be judged on 50% creativity and 50% written expression.
7. The ten (10) answers to the Competition Question which are deemed to be both the most creative and most articulate of all valid entries received as judged by the Promoter in its sole discretion will be determined as the winners.
8. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. An Entrant’s entry must not be, without limitation: a) Late;b) Delayed;c) Incomplete;d) Incomprehensible;e) Unlawful;f) Obscene;g) Defamatory;h) Libellous;i) Threatening;j) Pornographic;k) Harassing;l) Hateful;m) Racially or ethnically offensive;n) Capable of encouraging conduct that would be considered a criminal offence;o) Capable of violating any law; and/orp) Capable of giving rise to civil liability.
10. There is no limit on entries per entrant but each entrant, if deemed a winner, may only be awarded one (1) Prize.
11. PRIZE: A family pass (admit 4) to attend Paw Patrol Live in Melbourne (Saturday 8 April), Brisbane (Thursday 13 April), Sydney (Friday 21 April) or Perth (Friday 28 April) (value $200).
12. The prize has a total prize value of AUD $200. All prices stated are in Australian dollars, represent the recommended retail price (“RRP”) include GST & are subject to change.
14. All aspects of each Prize must be taken together as a package. The prize must be taken at the specified dates for Melbourne (Saturday 8 April 4pm), Brisbane (Thursday 13 April 4pm), Sydney (Friday 21 April 4pm) or Perth (Friday 28 April 4pm) at the stated time provided to the winner based on the location the entrant specified on the competition form. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a Winner does not take a Prize or an element of a Prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, that Prize or that element of the Prize will be forfeited by that Winner.
15. The prize does not include transport or accommodation.
16. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State Regulation.
17. The judging will take place on Monday 3 April 2017, Sydney NSW 2000
18. The winners will receive an email from Nickelodeon to notify that they have won.
19. If a winner is unable to be contacted or does not claim their Prize within 2 calendar days of judging, their Prize will be forfeited.
20. You must supply your correct email address and contact details.
21. The prizes are not transferable, divisible or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
22. Total Prize Pool value is AUD$2,000. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value, specifications or individual components of the Prize.
23. Entrants will be invited to opt-in to receive marketing communications from the Promoter. The decision by entrants to grant or withhold their consent in relation to the use of their information for marketing purposes will not affect the selection of the winner.
24. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry or entrant that fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
25. If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, whether caused by infection by computer virus, mobile phone failure, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory Authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion.
26. The Promoter reserves the right to close the competition earlier than advertised and the winner will be drawn from entries received to that time.
27. By entering, you understand that any personally identifiable information you provide in connection with the Promotion you are providing to Universal Sony. The personally identifiable information you provide in connection with the Promotion will be collected, stored and used in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, located at www.nbcuniversal.com/privacy.
29. Entrants (or their parent or legal guardian if entrant is not the age of majority in his/her state of residence) agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Promoter, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (the “Indemnified Parties”) from and against any claims made by the winner, entrants, or any other third parties, related in any way to the operation of this Promotion as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any Prize or participation in any Promotion-related activity or participation in this Promotion.
