Thanks Waikikamukau.

I get the same as you except for -

p41 Take 5 (20) -Lilt
p46 Star (34) - I get 4 - does anyone agree?
p50 Number Cross (47) - I get 1.  (it can't be 3 as the following number has to be a 9 to total 21)
p50 Sudoku (49)  - I get 9 (7 plus 2)

I am still working on (33) Rosetta and (40) Letter Play.  Can someone give us a clue?

Thanks, and good luck.

P45 Rosettta - I get 2
P46 Star - Agree with 4
P47 Letter Play - Better half tearing out what little hair he has left. I wouldn't even attempt it.
I think there is no way you can do this with so many combinations. There must be a mistake somewhere. They will probably accept any answer.

Have tried, on the face of it, it seems easy but even working out that the 1 across and 1 down can only start with 1 of 3 letters still hasn't helped me!

Doesn't the first one across and first down have to start with the same letter, if that is the case there are only 3 letters that are used more than once, L E and A, I think!!!!!

The last one across and the last one down would have to end with the same letter too because they meet. So, according to my worn out brain, YIWHR must start the first accross and first down OR end the last down and across because they meet & there is only one of each.  Im going crazy but hate quitting #Egg

Thankyou very much Reewees (from http://www.mintiandparents.com) for solving and sharing the solution.
