KEY TERMS
Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions (“Conditions”). By participating, entrants agree to be bound by the Conditions. Entries must comply with the Conditions to be valid.
Entry is open to residents of Australia who are 6 years of age and over.
Entrants who are under the age of 18 must seek permission from their parent or guardian to enter.
Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, its related entities and any agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.
To enter, each entrant must, during the Entry Period:
(a) purchase one or more Participating Products from any BIG W store or at
www.bigw.com.au (and keep the receipt) with a value of $20 or more; and
(b) visit
www.prizepromotions.com.au/bigwcars3 and fully complete the online entry
form, including:
(i) the entrant’s full name, address, email address, telephone number;
(ii) the Participating Product barcode number and purchase date;
(iii) the entrant’s school at which the Cars Mack Truck will be displayed; and
(iv) a response in 25 words or less to the following question: ”In 25 words or less, tell us who your favourite Cars character is and why”.
“Participating Products” means any Cars branded products.
Limit applies of one entry per person per qualifying transaction. Multiple entries are permitted, but the winner must be able to produce a different receipt for each entry.
The competition commences at 9.00am AEST on 1 June 2017 and closes at 11.59pm on 16 July 2017 AEST (“Entry Period”).
Judging will take place at 9.00am AEST on 17 July 2017 at 1 Woolworths Way, Bella Vista, NSW, 2153. All entries will be judged individually on their merits based on creativity and originality. The best ten valid entries, as determined by the judges, will each receive a prize. Entries will be judged by a panel of judges from BIG W.
Each prize consists of 1x 3 hour visit from the Cars Mack Truck to the winner’s school and is valued at $10,000 each. Total RRP value of prizes = $100,000.
All prize values are correct as at 24 April 2017 and are in Australian Dollars, but to the extent permitted by law, no responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for any variation in the value of the prize after that time.
The entrant’s school must be able to accommodate the Cars Mack Truck in order for the prize to be awarded to that entrant. The Cars Mack Truck’s specifications are:
• 18 metres long;
• 3 metres wide; and
• at least 4.3 metres height clearance.
If the Promoter, or its nominee, determines, at its sole and absolute discretion, that that the entrant’s school is unable to accommodate the Cars Mack Truck, the prize will be forfeited by the winner.
Prizes to be organised on a date between 1 August and 16 August 2017 or between 22 August and 15 September 2017 agreed between the Promoter, or its nominee, and the winner and the winner’s school in writing. If the Promoter, or its nomee, and the winner cannot agree on a date, or if the Cars Mack Truck is unavailable on any agreed date, the prize will be forfeited by the winner.
Winners will be notified using the contact details supplied in their entry form by 21 July 2017. The names of winners may be published at bigw.com.
