Game of Thrones, Season 7 is almost upon us, and Winter is certainly here. We have teamed up with Foxtel to give 5 lucky people the chance to be flown to Sydney to compete for $10,000! To be a finalist, all you have to do is upload a photo of yourself showing us that you're GoT's biggest fan. The winning finalists will then need to be primed and ready to crack into the ice to win! Game of Thrones the new season, begins July 17 on Showcase, only on Foxtel the home of HBO.

Entrants and any companions must be: 18 years of age or over.Entrants may submit as many entries as they wish however each entry must be submitted via a separate entry and must independently comply with these Competition Terms of Entry.
Online Entry
During the Promotion Period entrants will be invited via Station on air commercials to visit the Station Website and complete the online entry form in the manner required, including by providing their full name, mobile telephone number, current and valid email address, age and upload an image of themselves showing that they’re the biggest GoT (Game of Thrones) fan. The file size can be no larger than 2MB and will need to be in the form of either a JPEG, GIF or PNG file.
Each valid entry received during the Promotion Period will be individually judged by representatives of the Promoter (Judges) in accordance with the Judging details below. The Judges will select the five (5) entries they deem to be the “best” (based on the Judging Criteria) and award the entrant with a Minor Prize.
The Competition Challenge
Entrants selected as a Minor Prize Winner will be flown to Sydney, NSW (if applicable) to take part in the Competition Challenge where they will compete against each other for the chance to win the Major Prize.
They will be required to travel on/between 16 July 2017 and 18 July 2017 and will need to have signed and supplied a Prize Winner Indemnity form.Competition Challenge entrants will be supplied a costume, an individual ice block, a hammer and safety gear (including but not limited to goggles and gloves) to compete in the Competition Challenge. The contestant who cracks open their ice block to reach their gold crown and place it on his/her head first will be deemed the Major Prize Winner by a representative of the Promoter (as determined in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) at the time of the Competition Challenge as specified above.
In the event of multiple Competition Challenge entrants both reaching their crowns at the same time on site at the Competition Challenge a representative of the Promoter will engage with the Competition Challenge finalists and conduct a ‘Biggest Game of Thornes Fan Quiz’. The Challenge Finalists will then be asked up to five (5) Game of Thrones questions as chosen and specified by the Promoter. (as determined in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion)
The first Challenge finalist to correctly answer three (3) Game of Thrones questions will be deemed the Major Prize Winner by a representative of the Promoter (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion).
Entrants in the Promotion must be able to take part in the Competition Challenge which will be held in Sydney from 12:30pm AEST Monday 17 July 2017.
For the avoidance of doubt, if an entrant is spoken to by a representative of the Promoter, it does not mean they have been selected to participate in the Competition Challenge or be awarded a Prize (where applicable).
All valid entries will be individually judged by representatives of the Promoter (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) by 11:00am AEST Thursday 13 July 2017 at the Promoter’s premises. All valid entries will be judged based on the Judging Criteria.
All valid entries will be judged (by representatives of the Promoter) on originality, creativity and suitability or as otherwise specified by the Promoter (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion). Where entrants are required to participate in the Competition Challenge, the Promoter may specify the relevant judging criteria prior to or at the time of the Competition Challenge.
Minor Prize
There are 5 (five) minor prizes to be won, comprising of:
Entry into the Competition Challenge (for the Minor Prize winner only) on Monday 17 July 2017.
Where the Prize winner and their companion’s ordinary state of residence is VIC, QLD, SA, and WA (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) the winner will also be awarded one (1) travel prize for the winner and one (1) companion (companion must be aged 18 years or older, to be determined by the prize winner and approved by the Promoter in its discretion), valued at up to $1,600 (incl GST). The prize comprises of the following components:
Two (2) adult economy return airfares from VIC, QLD, SA or WA (as determined by the promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) to Sydney, NSW (inclusive of airfare related taxes and charges);
One (1) night minimum 4 star accommodation in a hotel to be determined and specified by the Promoter, twin share, to be shared by the winner and their companion;
$200 EFT Transfer to cover return transfers for the winner and their companion from the destination airport to their destination accommodation;
For the avoidance of doubt, if a Prize winner’s ordinary state of residence is NSW, they will not be awarded the accommodation or the domestic travel prize element of the Minor Prize.
Major Prize (Competition Challenge Winner)
There is one (1) major prize to be won comprising of:
$10,000 cash prize (AUD)
Entrants and their companion must be able to take the Minor Prize on/between 16 July 2017 and 18 July 2017. Dates and schedules of the prizes are not under the Promoter’s control and are subject to change. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any date or schedule changes.
Up to a total value $18,000 (incl GST)
Winners will be notified by one or more of the following by 1:00pm AEST Thursday 13 July 2017
