In conjunction with the 145th Singleton Show, Power FM is giving ten women the opportunity to go head to head in a race through the 2017 official Wife Carrying Championship course, for a chance to score themselves a $2500 9ct White Gold Cluster Diamond Ring, thanks to Prouds the Jeweller, Muswellbrook. There is a catch though. The catch is that these lovely ladies will be running the course kitted out in the finest of bridal wear - dress and all! To be selected to run the course, register below and write a love letter to someone (or something) special in your life. Maybe it’s your pet cat? Coffee? Chocolate? Or maybe even your significant other? The best letters will be showcased on air during the Power Brekky Show and those lucky letter writers will secure themselves a spot in the race and a chance to score that diamond ring. the Power FM OB between 11am and 3pm
Entry Restrictions
Entrants must be 18 years or older at the commencement of the promotion.
Entry is only open to females.
Entrants must be physically fit to compete in the race.
Employees and their immediate families of are ineligible to enter. Employees and their
immediate families of all associated sponsors and participating companies are also ineligible
to enter.
Promotion entrants and major prize winners consent to any photos, video, online
submissions or voice to be using in radio or print marketing at the discretion of Grant
Broadcasters.
Entrants can enter as many times as they like. Once the Online Registration Period has
closed, entrants must not continue to attempt to enter.
Entry Procedure
To enter, entrants must:
1. During the Online Registration Period, visit the Website, register their details and
answer the questions specified by the Promoter at the point of entry (“Entry”).
2. Complete the form in its entirety. If an entry form does not have all required fields
filled in appropriately, the Promoter has the right to discard or overlook the
registration.
The Promoter will select ten (10) finalists as contestants in the Running of the Brides Race
to be held at the Singleton Show on September 23rd, 2017 based on their suitability and
ability to comply with the requirements of the Promotion.
The Major Prize winner will be awarded to the finalist who finishes the Running of the Brides
course in first place. The two minor prizes will be awarded to the finalists who finish in
second and third place.
For the avoidance of doubt, all decisions in relation to the selection of entrants included in
the Race are in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion.
By participating in the contest, each participant agrees that Power FM’s decisions regarding
the award of prizes and prize amounts will be final and binding in all respects.
For the avoidance of doubt, if an entrant is spoken to by a representative of the Promoter, it
does not mean they have been selected as a Contestant, and they may not be invited to
participate in one/any of the challenge/s or be awarded a Minor Prize or Major Prize.

All judging decisions are at the discretion of the Promoter and no correspondence will be
entered into in this regard.

A draw for the prize, if unclaimed, may take place 3 months after the initial draw date, being
22nd December 2017 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any
directions from a regulatory authority. The winner, if any, will be notified in writing by email
within two (2) business days of the draw.
