Terms and Conditions of Entry for Safe Work Month Competitions:
Forklift Competition
What’s Your Safety Reason
1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of
these terms and conditions.
2. Entry is open to BML authorised Access Card holders. The employees of Brisbane Markets Limited and their immediate
families are not eligible to enter.
3. The winners of the:
a. Forklift Safety Competition will be drawn at 12:00 pm on Friday, 6 October, Friday 13 October, Friday 20 October
and Friday 27 October 2017.
b. What’s Your Safety Reason will be drawn at 12:00 pm on Friday 27 October 2017.
4. The winners:
a. will be contacted via SMS by BML; and
b. will be required to show their Access Card to collect their prize from the Site Services Centre.
5. To enter:
a. The Forklift Safety Competition, participants must complete an online competition form including:
i. Their name and mobile number;
ii. Answer three forklift safety questions;
iii. Acknowledge BML’s Privacy Policy, Collection Notification Statement and these terms and conditions.
b. The What’s Your Safety Reason, participants must complete an online competition form including:
i. Their name and mobile number;
ii. Describe their safety reason in 20 words or less;
iii. Acknowledge BML’s Privacy Policy, Collection Notification Statement and these terms and conditions.
6. Entrants in the competition may enter multiple times.
7. The prize pool is as follows:
a. Forklift Safety Competition: Four gift cards each with a value of $150.00. The prizes will be drawn as per the
above dates.
b. What’s Your Safety Reason. One given card with a value of $500. The prizes will be drawn as per the above dates.
8. The promoter’s decision is final and the promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the Competition result
or winning entries.

9. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the
prize supplier’s requirements.
10. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s
ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, the
Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same
conditions.
11. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to
indirect or consequential loss) except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
12. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to
believe has breached any of these conditions or is in breach of the Brisbane Markets Regulations.
13. The Promoter and their associated agencies and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission,
interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or
unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
14. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
