TERMS AND CONDITIONS
HARVEY NORMAN CAR GIVEAWAY
The following terms and conditions apply for the Grant Broadcasters HARVEY NORMAN CAR
GIVEAWAY promotion.
These terms and conditions apply in conjunction with Grant Broadcasters Network General Contest
Rules. Where there is any inconsistency, these terms and conditions will prevail.
Participating Stations: Htiz 939 Bundaberg
1. DURATION
Entries open 1
st October and close at 1pm Saturday 23
rd December 2017.
2. METHOD OF ENTRY
To enter simply make any purchase in any department at Harvey Norman Bundaberg (125 Takalvan
Street). Contestants must write their name and contact details on the back of their receipt and place in
the barrel.
At 4pm each Saturday, one entrant will be selected from the barrel at random and will be announced
as a finalist on Hitz 939 on the Monday morning (Mondays from 9
th October – 18
th December).
3 Wildcard finalist positions will also be given away at the Outside Broadcast between 11am and 1pm.
To be eligible to win, finalists must be present at the Hitz 939 Outside Broadcast at Harvey Norman
on Saturday 23
rd December. Registration by 1pm.
3. PRIZE
A white Hyundai Ascent Sports Auto. Prize valued at RRP $17,990. There is no cash, credit or other alternative
to the prize offered. Prize contents or description may change at the discretion of Grant Broadcasters.
4. SELECTION OF WINNERS
All 14 finalists will draw a number randomly which will correspond to a numbered key. They then go in
order to try and start the car. The key that starts the car belongs to the winner.
Winner must be over 18, licensed and able to drive away the vehicle on the day of the draw.
5. NOTIFICATION
The winner must be at the location at the time of the draw. If the person is not present by 1.30pm 23
rd
December they forfeit their place in the final draw.
6. INDEMNITY
All contestants release from, and indemnify GRANT BROADCASTERS and Harvey Norman
Bundaberg against, all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize(s) or
participation in the competition including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury and
damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or
omission or otherwise.
7. ENTRY CONDITIONS.
Employees of Grant Broadcasters or Harvey Norman Bundaberg and their immediate families are
ineligible to enter. Employees and their immediate families of all associated sponsors and
participating companies are also ineligible to enter.
If after winners’ announcement a breach of eligibility is discovered, the prize will not be awarded.
8. ALTERATION OF CONTEST SPOTS.
Grant Broadcasters reserves the right to alter or drop contest hours from the competition due to
changed programming conditions in the event of a natural disaster or for any other unforeseeable
reason.
9. DATABASE
By entering this competition you agree for your details to be shared with Grant Broadcasters Hitz 939
and Harvey Norman Bundaberg for future marketing.
