Terms and Conditions of Entry

1. Promoter
The Promoter is Edge Loyalty Systems Pty Ltd (ABN 96 138 299 288) trading as Edge PRI, of Level 1, 500 Chapel Street, South Yarra Victoria 3141 (“the Promoter”).

2. Who may enter the Promotion?
The only persons who may enter and be awarded prizes are: (a) who are residents of Australia; (b) who are not employees of the Promoter or its related bodies corporate or advertising agencies, or the immediate family of such employees. “Immediate family” means spouse, parent, child or sibling, whether or not they live in the same household as the employee; and (c) must be over the age of 18 years.

3. How to enter
To enter, participants must follow all onscreen instructions to complete and submit the online entry form at http://giveaways.goodfoodgiftcard.com.au/giveaways/win-1-in-10-100-good-food-gift-cards/. Additional Entries in the promotion can be earned when the entrants send the Sweepstakes page to a friend, age 18 or older, by following the Additional Entry instructions on the screen (“Additional Entry”). The friend must enter the promotion from the referral in order to get an additional entry. All entries must be received by 11.59pm AEST 30th November 2017.

4. Conditions of entry
By entering the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

As a term of entry, eligible entrants are required to opt in to receive future email communications from Village Roadshow Ltd. (owner of Good Food Gift Card and Village Roadshow Entertainment). Entrants can opt out of the email communications at any time following the email footer links.

5. Duration
The Promotion commences at 12pm (AEDT) 2nd November 2017 and closes 11.59pm AEDT 30th November 2017. Entries are deemed to be received at the time they are received by the Promoter’s database and not at the time of submission by the entrant. Entries received after the closing date will be deemed invalid.

6. Selection of winner/s
This Promotion is a game of chance. Winner/s will be selected randomly via computer selection on 4 December, 2017 at the Promoter’s offices, Level 3, 79 Myrtle Street, Chippendale, Sydney at 11am (AEDT). The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding on every entrant and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the Promotion results.

7. Prize:

The following prize package will be awarded to ten winners:

Good Food Gift Card

Winners will be posted/emailed one $100 Good Food Gift Card. The winner will be required to provide the Promoter appropriate photo identification or other documentation in order to confirm the entrant’s identity, age, residential address, eligibility to enter before the Promoter is required to issue a prize via email (for digital gift cards) or post (for physical gift cards). If this information is not received by the Promoter or an entrant or entry has not been verified or validated to the Promoter’s satisfaction then all the entries by that entrant will be ineligible and deemed invalid.. Refer to gift card for terms, expiry and activation instructions.

8. Prize Pool

Prize pool is valued at AU$1,000. All prizes must be taken as offered and are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash. Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions, all other expenses become the responsibility of the winners. In the event that a prize is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier at the time of printing. Any incidental costs relating to the prize are the responsibility of the prize winner. The Promoter is not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings.

9. Notification of winner/s
Good Food Gift Card will notify the winner by email to the email address provided upon entry on 4th December 2017.

10. Publication of names
By accepting a prize, the winner agrees to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable media editorial requests relating to the prize, including but not limited to, being interviewed, photographed and filmed without further compensation. The winner/s personal information may be disclosed to state or territory departments and published as required by the relevant legislation regulating trade promotions.

Entry and acceptance of prize constitute permission by Edge PRI to use the winner’s name, prize won, hometown and likeness for online posting and promotional purposes without further compensation.

11. Customer information
The Promoter will not share an entrant’s personal information with other organisations unless:

    you give us your express consent, or
    sharing is otherwise required or permitted by law, or
    this is necessary on a temporary basis to enable our contractors to perform specific functions.

The information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the Promotion and for the purposes set out below.

12. Privacy
The personal information collected as part of the entry in the promotion is collected to enable identification of the winner/s and for marketing and promotional purposes. If entrants do not give the Promoter the information, entrants cannot participate in the promotion. The Promoter may use submitted information for the purposes of conducting the promotion. In addition to any required disclosures referred to in Clause 10 above, your personal information will be disclosed to the Promoter’s related bodies corporate for these purposes. All information provided by entrants to the Promoter will be held in accordance with the Edge PRI Privacy Policy which can be obtained by visiting https://goodfoodgiftcard.com.au/PrivacyPolicy. 13. Conduct of Promotion
If for any reason the promotion does not run for its duration due to a computer virus, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or has engaged in conduct to jeopardize the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter does not accept responsibility and is not liable for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence due to error, omission, tampering, deletion, theft, communications failure or otherwise. The Promoter has no control over communications networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred.

The Promoter reserves the right to permanently disqualify from the promotion any person it believes has intentionally violated these terms and conditions and cancel the promotion if it becomes technically corrupted (including if a computer virus, bot or system malfunction inalterably impairs its ability to conduct the promotion), and to select winner from among all eligible entries received prior to withdrawal.

14. Limitation of liability
Certain legislation may imply warranties or conditions or impose other obligations including statutory consumer guarantees which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified except to a limited extent. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all guarantees, warranties, conditions or other terms that apply under or are implied by statute, common law or trade custom or usage as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of any goods or services offered as prizes. If in the conduct of this Promotion the Promoter is liable for a breach of any guarantee, warranty, condition or other term that applies under the Australian Consumer Law or is implied by any other commonwealth, state or territory law that cannot be excluded, the Promoter’s liability under that legislation is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to the cost of replacement of any benefit or prize won. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its employees and agents are not liable for any loss suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its employees or agents, in connection with the arrangement for the supply, or the supply, of goods and services by any person to the prize winner/sand, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the prize winner/s.

15. Printing errors
All valid prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool will be honoured. Printing or other quality control errors will not invalidate an otherwise valid prize claim.
