“Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute” Promotion Terms and Conditions 1.The Promoter is the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute (ABN: 61 068 363 235) located at the Lowy Packer Building, 405 Liverpool Street, Darlinghurst, NSW 2010, telephone (02) 9295 8600.

2.Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.

3.Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.

4.There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this promotion.

5.By entering this promotion, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

6.The promotion commences on 15/10/2017 and final entries close at 11:59pm AEDST on 15/01/2018 (“Promotional Period”). No entries will be accepted outside of the Promotion Period.

7.To enter, individuals must visit, complete the quiz in full, input the requested details (including their first name, surname, a valid email address, telephone number and state) and submit the fully completed entry form and quiz so that it is received during the Promotional Period.

8.Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.

9.Only one (1) entry permitted per person.

10.The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

11.No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

12.If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.

13.The draw will take place at the office of the Promoter’s digital agency on 22/01/2018 at 1pm AEDST. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn.

14.The winner(s) will be notified by email and telephone within two (2) business days of the draw.

15.The Promoter will notify the winner(s) when and where the prize(s) can be collected or how it/they will be delivered.

16.If the winner(s) cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner(s) and pick a replacement winner(s) and notify them in the same manner as set out above.

17.The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with this promotion will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

18.The winner of the draw will receive a research inspired Lego set valued at $85.00 RRP.

19.If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

20.Prizes, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.

21.Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

22.If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

23.Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.

24.As a winner you release the Promoter and its affiliates, partners and employees from any and all liability, claims, demands and causes of action for personal injury and/or damage, theft, or loss suffered in connection with the promotion or the use or acceptance of the prize or any portion thereof.

25.The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will use and handle PI in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional and marketing, purposes, including ending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant.
