The 2017 Edition of the JOHN WALKER & SONS PRIVATE COLLECTION is the fourth in this series that celebrates the innovative spirit and craft of our blenders.

Master Blender Jim Beveridge, with fellow blender Aimée Gibson, selected rare and experimental casks to contribute distinctive flavours from three aspects of their Mastery of Oak in maturing and blending the finest Scotch Whiskies. Finally, intense vanilla sweetness from whiskies matured in American oak for a blenders’ study of oak and the creation of flavour.

The whiskies were married for several months before combining in the 2017 Edition, a sumptuous blend of oak-rich fruit notes.

This limited release of 5,588 individually numbered decanters reveals the full richness of cask character.

Entries open Wednesday 14 February 2018 at 9:00am AEDT and close Thursday 1 March at 12:00am AEDT. Winner determined on Thursday 1st March at 11.00am at Mastercard Loyalty Solutions, Level 3, 34 James Craig Road, Rozelle NSW 2039. Total prize pool valued at $995.Limit one entry per member
