The Promoter may amend the Promotional Period in accordance with state legislative rules.
Contesting Period Dates Weekdays only, from 07 May 2018 to 21 Jun 2018 (some days may be excluded).
Times Between 06:00 and 15:00 AEST
"Contesting Day" means an individual day during the Contesting Period. "Contesting Segment" means an individual
Contesting Segment on a Contesting Day.
Entry Restrictions Entrants must be 18 years or older.
Entrants must be able to attend the Million Dollar Beach Dig ("the Event") on 22 Jun 2018 at Nobbys Beach, Newcastle NSW
and, unless otherwise specified, must make their own way to and from this event.
Relevant State(s) Entry is only open to residents of NSW.
To be eligible to participate in the Promotion, entrants must be directed by a telephone exchange provider to the specific
station in that state of broadcast when calling the station competition line.
Maximum Entries Entrants can enter as many times as they like. Once an entrant has been determined as a Finalist, they must not continue to
attempt to enter.
Entry Procedure 1. To enter, entrants must on a Contesting Day:
(a) Listen to Hit106.9 and telephone the station competition line following the broadcast of a cue to call.
(b) Be selected by the Promoter in accordance with the Judging Details and participate on air to be determined as a
Finalist.
2. All Finalists must attend the Event, where the Promoter will hold a draw from all valid Finalists to determine one (1)
Contestant.
3. At the Event, there will be 106 equal sized square marked out on the beach. Buried in each square will be a box
containing a token on which the value of a cash prize will be displayed. Only one (1) of the 106 tokens will represent the
Major Prize. The other 105 tokens will each represent a Minor Prize.
4. When directed by the Promoter, the Contestant will select one (1) square on the beach. Once they have selected their
chosen square their decision will be final.
5. When instructed by the Promoter, the Contestant will dig in their chosen square to find the corresponding buried box and
when instructed will then open the box to reveal the token inside. The Contestant will win the prize displayed on that
token.

The first valid Finalist randomly drawn will be determined as the Contestant and must participate as per the Entry Procedure.
Judging Details All judging decisions are at the discretion of the Promoter and no correspondence will be entered into in this regard.

If a prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date & Time, the winner forfeits the prize.
Additional Terms By entering this Promotion, all entrants hereby acknowledge that the Event may be photographed and/or filmed for the
purposes of marketing and publicity.
By entering this Promotion, all entrants hereby acknowledge that they are in good physical health suitable for the purposes of
taking part in the Event, and that they will notify the Promoter of any injuries and/or otherwise that may prevent them from
taking part.
All Finalists and other Event attendees will be required to follow the instructions of the Promoter and their nominated agents
and/or promotional partners and suppliers at all times during the Event. Any individuals at the Event who fail to follow the
instructions of the Promoter and their nominated agents and/or promotional partners and suppliers may be asked to leave the
Event site, and may be disqualified from the Promotion.
All Finalists participate in the Event – and travel to and from the Event – at their own risk.
The location of the Event is at the absolute discretion of the Promoter. Event location may change without prior warning. The
Promoter may request that the Finalists stand in a particular area/order and may provide reasonable instructions to the
Finalists, which the Finalists must abide by.
In the case of extreme or wet weather, at the Promoter’s discretion the Promoter reserves the right to postpone the Event at
any time. The Promoter will not be held liable for any such necessary changes and Finalists will not be compensated in any
way.
