The Promoter may amend the Promotional Period in accordance with state legislative rules.
Contesting Period Dates Weekdays only, from 20 Aug 2018 to 21 Sep 2018 (excluding public holidays).
Times Between 09:00 and 15:00 AEST
"Contesting Day" means an individual day during the Contesting Period. "Contesting Segment" means an individual
Contesting Segment on a Contesting Day.
Entry Restrictions Entrants must be 18 years or older.
Relevant State(s) Entry is only open to residents of QLD.
To be eligible to participate in the Promotion, entrants must be directed by a telephone exchange provider to the specific
station in that state of broadcast when calling the station competition line.
Maximum Entries Entrants can enter once only.
Entry Procedure To enter, entrants must on a Contesting Day:
1. Listen to hit105 and telephone the station competition line following the broadcast of a cue to call and be selected in
accordance in accordance with the Judging Details to participate on air (Contestant).
2. Each Contestant will be played an audio grab of one (1) line from a song. Once the audio has stopped, the
contestant will have three (3) seconds to sing the next line of the song.
3. The next line of the song must be accurately sung (word for word) as determined by the Promoter. Contestants will
not be penalized if they continue past the point of the next line and the Promoter may prompt a Contestant to
continue singing if they have not adequately completed the next line of the song.
4. If the contestant correctly sings the next line song lyrics, they will be awarded a Major Prize. If they do not correctly
sing the lyrics of the next line, the Contestant will not receive a prize and the Major Prize will jackpot on the next
Contesting Segment.
Judging Details All judging decisions are at the discretion of the Promoter and no correspondence will be entered into in this regard.
Judging criteria: All entries will be judged on accuracy, entertainment value, suitability, or as otherwise specified. Where
entrants submit a guess or answer to question(s) the Promoter will judge the accuracy of an answer and there may be a time
factor applied.
