Five teams of two (one from each state) will race 2,040 KM from Rockhampton to Moonee Valley Racecourse over 5 action-packed days. To win, you'll have to not only be fast, but smart, strategic and a true competitior to complete the challenges and keep ahead of the field.

• “Who would be your teammate and why?”
Selection of Challengers
Between 10:00am AEST Monday 1 October 2018 and 5:00pm AEST Thursday 4 October 2018, representatives of the Promoter will:
(a) select five (5) entries deemed to be the ‘best’ (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period (each, a Selected Entrant);
(b) Selected Entrants will be contacted by representatives of the Promoter to verify their eligibility to participate in the Challenge (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion);
(c) if deemed eligible, the Selected Entrants will be awarded a Minor Prize and will be invited to participate in the Challenge as a Challenger;
(d) if a Selected Entrant is unable to participate in the Challenge for any reason, or is found by the Promoter to be ineligible to participate in the Challenge for any reason (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion), the Promoter may deem that Selected Entrant ineligible, and may contact the entrant deemed to have submitted the next ‘best’ entry (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) and (once their eligibility to participate in the Challenge has been verified) award that entrant a Minor Prize and invite that entrant to participate in the Challenge as a Challenger; Challenger
(e) the Promoter will continue this process until five (5) eligible Challengers have been invited to participate in the Challenge and awarded a Minor Prize.
For the avoidance of doubt, if an entrant is spoken to by a representative of the Promoter, it does not mean they have been selected as a Selected Entrant or a Challenger, and they may not be invited to participate in the Challenge or awarded a Minor Prize.
If an entrant is deemed a Challenger, and at a later stage, it is brought to the attention of the Promoter that the Challenger is not eligible to participate in the Challenge for any reason (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion), the Promoter may deem that entrant ineligible to participate in the Challenge, and that entrant will forfeit all rights to participate in the Challenge or receive any prize in the Promotion.
The Challenge
On Sunday 21 October 2018 Challengers and their nominated companions (companions to be nominated by each Challenger and approved by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) will be transferred from the capital city closest to the Challenger’s ordinary residential address to a hotel in Rockhampton, QLD (to be determined by the Promoter and advised to the Challenger at a later date) as specified by the Promoter. Challenger/companion duos will have flights, transfers and accommodation supplied by the Promoter with the Promoter arranging flights (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) on behalf of the Challenger/companion duos.
On Monday 22 October 2018 Challengers and their nominated companions, will be required to make their own way from Rockhampton, QLD to Mooney Valley, VIC with $500 (the Promoter will provide each Challenger with $500).
The Promoter will issue the Challenger/companion duos with further rules and instructions, and a ‘survival pack’ at the commencement of the Challenge.
If a Challenger/companion duo is found to have breached these Terms of Entry, or any rules or instructions issued by the Promoter, the Promoter may automatically disqualify that Challenger/companion duo (in its sole and absolute discretion).
Each day during the Challenge Period, Challengers will be required to arrive at designated ‘checkpoints’ to spend the night. If a Challenger and their companion fail to make it to that checkpoint by the specified time on any night during the Challenge Period, that Challenger and their companion will be disqualified from the Challenge (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion).
Throughout the course of the Challenge Period, there will be a series of tasks available, for the Challenger/companion duo to incur a reduction in the Challenger/companion duo’s overall race time, if completed successfully. Participation in such tasks will be at the discretion of the Challengers and their companions.
The Challenger who is deemed to have reached the specified finish destination in Mooney Valley, VIC (together with their companion) with the fastest time (calculated by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion, based on overall time taken and reductions incurred as a result of successful completion of various tasks over the course of the Challenge Period) will be deemed the winner, and will be awarded the Major Prize.
If, after a specified time period (determined by the Promoter), no Challenger/companion duo is able to successfully complete the Challenge (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion), the Challenger/companion duo who is deemed to have reached the furthest checkpoint the quickest (calculated by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion, based on overall time taken and reductions incurred as a result of successful completion of various tasks over the course of the Challenge Period) will be declared the winner and awarded the Major Prize.
All valid entries will be individually judged by representatives of the Promoter (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) by 5pm AEST Thursday 11 October 2018 at the Promoter’s premises. All valid entries will be judged based on the Judging Criteria.
All valid entries will be judged (by representatives of the Promoter) on originality, creativity and suitability or as otherwise specified by the Promoter (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion).
