We have five (5) family passes to give away for the performance at the Brisbane Arts Theatre.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
These Terms and Conditions of Entry set out all of the information regarding the Brisbane City Council (Council) – Brisbane Arts Theatre production - The Day My Bum Went Psycho Competition (the Competition)
The promoter of the Competition is Brisbane City Council ABN 72 002 765 795 acting through Creative Communities, Lifestyle and Community Services whose principal offices are at Brisbane Square, 266 George Street, Brisbane. (the Promoter)
Information on how to enter the competition forms part of the Terms and Conditions of Entry.
Competition entry is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Entry.
Prize:
There are five (5) prizes for this competition, each consisting of a Family Pass (4 tickets) to the Brisbane Arts Theatre production of The Day My Bum Went Psycho valued at $80 (the Prize).
The Prize must be redeemed with the Brisbane Arts Theatre in accordance to the Brisbane Arts Theatre terms and conditions.
Winners of the Prize must make a booking directly with Brisbane Arts Theatre, subject to Brisbane Arts Theatre’s conditions of booking.
Each Prize is valid until 9 March 2019.
The Prize is not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If the full amount of the Prize is not redeemed or the expiry date has passed, the un-used balance or Prize will be forfeited. Any additional expenses incurred by the winner, other than those outlined in these Terms and Conditions of Entry, are the responsibility of the Prize winners.
The Prize is subject to the specific terms and conditions of the prize providers. The Prize must be redeemed by the winner unless the winner is under eighteen (18) years of age, in which case the winner’s parent or guardian is required to redeem the Prize on the winner’s behalf.
How to enter
Entrants must complete via the online entry form (
https://www.brisbane.qld.gov.au/brisbane-arts-theatre-day-my-bum-went-psycho-competition) and submit the ‘Tell us in 25 words or less what your bum would be called if it had a name and why’ section.
Only one entry per email address will be accepted. A person may enter the competition more than once, however each entry must include a different email address.
All entries submitted before the Competition Period commenced will be accepted.
Entrants will receive a confirmation email from the Promoter to advise them they have been entered in the competition.
Eligibility
To be eligible to enter this competition, a person must:
be a resident of the City of Brisbane, identified by postcode provided on entry form;
fully and legibly complete all the details on the entry form;
not be an employee or contracted staff of the Promoter; and
be of at least eighteen (18) years of age or have the consent of a parent or guardian to enter the competition
Competition Draw
Winners will be chosen by Entries close at 9.00am on Monday 21 January 2019.
Five (5) winners will be decide upon by the Council Officer’s assessment of the creative and unique nature of the entries. The decision of that officer shall be conclusive and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winner Notification
The winners will be notified via phone and email by a Council Officer by 9:00am Monday 21 January 2019.
Prizes Claim and Prizes Re-Draw:
The winner must claim the Prize or make contact with the Promoter, either by way of email or phone, by 10am Tuesday 22 January 2019 (the Prize Claim Date).
If the Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date, the Promoter will redraw the winner until a contactable winner has been located and the Prize is claimed
To claim the Prize, winners will be required to contact the Brisbane Arts Theatre to request a booking date.
No Liability of Promoter
The Promoter accepts no responsibility whatsoever for late, misplaced, lost or ineligible entries. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of the Prizes. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury sustained in connection with the entry into the competition or acceptance of the Prizes. This paragraph is not intended to exclude any liability which cannot be excluded under Australian consumer protection laws. Any such liability is limited to the resupply of the prize.
Copyright and Privacy Consent
By entering into the competition, the entrant consents to:
their personal information being collected and stored by the Promoter for the purpose of this competition; and
the Promoter provided the winners names to The Brisbane Arts Theatre.
Force Majeure
If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned (including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter), which corrupts or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify all entries from any individual who tampers with, or benefits from tampering with, the entry process which as a result corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the competition.
In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.
Competition updates of cancellation
Council reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions of Entry at any time and to cancel or amend the competition at any time without notice or further recourse to the entrants.
