1. By entering this Promotion, Entrants agree to abide by these Conditions of Entry. The Promoter is China Airlines LTD, ABN: 34 089 688 086, PO BOX 3086 (“the Promoter”).
2. This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook. You understand that you are providing your information to China Airlines LTD and not to Facebook.
3. Entry to the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these conditions. All entry instructions and prize information published by the Promoter form part of these conditions.
4. The Promotion commences from 10:00 am AEDT on Thursday 20 June 2019 and closes at 11:59 pm AEDT on Wednesday 3 July 2019 (Promotion Period).
5. Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older (Entrant). Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, related companies of the Promoter and agencies associated with the promotion and their related companies are ineligible to enter.
6. To enter the Promotion, Entrants must comment on the competition Facebook or Instagram post with an answer to the following question: “For your chance to WIN 1x Economy Class Return Ticket to Taipei: ✈

    Like the China Airlines Facebook Page/Follow us on Instagram (Dependent on platform),
    Tag a friend, &
    Tell us why you want to fly to Taiwan on China Airlines or what you would do in 24hrs in Taiwan!”

The comment must be submitted successfully for a valid entry. This comment must be submitted so that it is received during the Promotion Period (Entry).
7. Entrants may enter the Promotion as many times as they like during the Promotion Period. Incomplete, indecipherable or inaccurate Entries will be deemed invalid. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promotion database. The Promoter is not responsible for any delay in, or failure of, transmission which causes an Entry not to be received within the Promotion Period.
8. All entries must not contain or embed any URL links or photographs that are:

    Are pornographic, sexually explicit, obscene or indecent;
    Portrays or promotes violence, dangerous stunts or illegal activities;
    Contains private, sensitive or confidential information of the participant or others;
    Contains unlawful, harmful, threatening, derogatory, defamatory, tortuous, misleading or any otherwise objectionable content;
    Portrays or promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation; or
    Promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual.

Entries submitted by participants if found to include such elements or is otherwise inappropriate and/or offensive will be rejected.
9. No purchase is necessary to enter. Purchasing products will not help your chances of winning.
10. There is 1 (one) Major Prize to be awarded to 1 (one) total Prize Winner. The Major Prize contains 1 x Return Economy Class Flight from Sydney OR Brisbane OR Melbourne to Taipei. Other Australian cities are not applicable. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prizes.
i. The prize is 1 x confirmed Economy Class Return Ticket. Whole itineraries must be completed within 90 days from the date of ticket issuance.
ii. Any taxes, levy, duty, and/or surcharges imposed on this ticket are payable by the passenger at the time of ticket issuance.
iii. The Ticket is non-transferable, non-reroutable, non-refundable, non-cashable, and not valid for resale.
iv. The Original Letter must be presented to the nearest China Airlines’ Branch Office for booking and ticket issuance.
11. The prize tickets are valid on China Airlines operating flights only; joint venture and codeshare services are excluded.
12. The judges will select the Prize Winners based on the most creative and/or original entry comment. The Winner/s will be contacted via private message within one day of being judged as the winner. The Winner/s will be announced on the China Airlines LTD Facebook Page (https://facebook.com/ChinaAirlinesAustralia/) within one day of being judged the winner. Allow up to 60 (sixty) business days for the delivery of all prizes.
13. This Promotion is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winners.
14. By entering this Promotion and submitting content you authorise that it is your own content and that you are permitted to distribute such content. The content must not magnify competitor products in which the brand name is noticeably visible and/or written. The content must adhere to safe work practices and not endorse unsafe behaviour in any form.
15. By entering this Promotion you authorise the Promoter to use content from your Entry on the China Airlines LTD Facebook Page (https://facebook.com/ChinaAirlinesAustralia/), website, paid advertising, digital platforms, PR & marketing activities, and EDM of China Airlines LTD. Any personal information that we collect and record is subject to China Airlines LTD’s privacy policy. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your personal information and how you may access the information that we hold about you.
16. The information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this Promotion.
17. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information or images submitted by entrants for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes. All entries remain the property of the Promoter.
18. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information in connection with the Promotion is governed by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). By entering the Promotion, Entrants agree and consent to the Promoter:
i. using and disclosing the Entrant’s personal information for the purposes of conducting the Promotion, redeeming the Prizes and any other matter connected to or incidental to the Promotion;
ii. using the Entrant’s personal information for the purposes of carrying out marketing, planning, product development and promotional campaigns, in any media including email and SMS, unless an Entrant otherwise withdraws their consent to the use of their information in this manner; and
iii. using the Entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting the Promotion and for any other purpose at the Promoter’s sole discretion, unless an Entrant otherwise withdraws their consent to the use of their information in this manner.
19. In the event of any dispute regarding these Terms and Conditions, conduct, results, and all other matters relating to the Competition, the decision of China Airlines shall be final and no complaints shall be entertained and no correspondence or discussions shall be entered into.
