The AILA Landscape Architecture Awards program provides a key vehicle for the promotion of the work of landscape architects in Australia. The Awards process demonstrates the positive impact the profession has on Australian lives through the planning and design of the built and natural environments.
In 2019 entrants from the Parks and Open Space Category have been selected for The Adelaide Review – AILA SA People’s Choice Award. Projects in this category are constructed public parks and open spaces, or strategic open space projects that balance the demand for recreation, culture and the environment.
AILA SA is a strong advocate for public green open spaces for our communities and is a partner for the Better Greener campaign through the Government of South Australia’s Healthy Parks Healthy People SA initiative. Green space does a lot to make Adelaide a better place to live. As we keep developing our city, we need to ensure that quality green public space is available to all communities.
