Children aged from 5 to 16 years of age have the chance to win a ‘A World Full of Wonder’ experience at this year’s National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant.
We are calling on all children in South Australia to get creative and add to the World of Pageant Wonder by taking part and designing a mini float. The winning float will be built and showcased in the 2020 Pageant parade.
The Mini Float Competition is open to both individuals, class groups, arts students or children that just love to draw and be creative. You can present a drawing, painting or model.
This is a wonderful opportunity to put pen to paper, colour pencils and whatever other tools young creative minds can conjure up to imagine, craft and create a Pageant mini float.
As well as featuring in this year’s Pageant parade, the winning mini float will be seen on the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant website and Facebook page.
The winning class will also receive a cash prize of $500 for them or their school, an awesome prize pack, a unique behind the scenes tour of Stardust Castle with their class or family AND a reserved space to watch the Christmas Pageant together on Saturday 14th of November - the happiest day of the year!
Entries open Sunday 19th April and close Tuesday 30th June 2020, with the winners being announced in mid-September 2020.
Thanks to National Pharmacies, the winning entries will receive:
First Prize: $500 cash, a behind the scenes tour of Stardust Castle, a reserved space to watch the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant
Second Prize: $250 cash
Third Prize: $100 cash.

You must send your entry by midnight on Tuesday 30 June 2020.
Once your creation is complete, you just need to send it to us so we can see it! You just need to
follow these steps:
1. Make sure your finished creation is able to be sent as an attachment in an email - A file no more than 10 megabytes in a .pdf or .jpg format.
a) If you’re sending us a video, make sure the file size is small enough to send in an
email. The file type must be .mp4 or .mov.
b) If you’ve made a model, please send us images of the model.
2. Fill out the application form found here or from the competition page on our website (you can do this on your computer).
3. Attach both the form and your submission in an email and send it to
christmaspageant@sa.gov.au4. You’re done! Thank you for entering!
• Entries are limited to children aged 16 years or younger.
• Each entry will be viewed by a panel of judges, whose decision will be final.
• Transport is not provided for the visit to Stardust Castle, or to the designated viewing area on
Pageant Day.
• Entries that breach any of the areas highlighted as inappropriate designs will be automatically
disqualified.
• Entries received after Tuesday 30 June 2020 will
be ineligible.
• All entrants into the competition should be aware
that the child/children, schools and/or
designs may be used by the South Australian Tourism Commission or by National Pharmacies for public relations or promotional/media purposes (including traditional media and social media).
• All intellectual rights in relation to the winning design become the property of the
South Australian Tourism Commission (owners and managers of the event on behalf of the State of SA).
