“Create…Animate…Share!” Junior Storytellers is an iPad storytelling app and web portal that allows children (aged 4-9) to animate and safely share their stories with friends, family and other storytellers all over the world.
Designed to complement both the kindergarten and primary school curriculum, Junior Storytellers aims to entertain as well as improve imagination, literacy, communication and language skills. Structured around classic storytelling elements including the ‘hero’, wants, obstacles, secondary characters, travel and conclusions, the app contains different challenges to suit all developmental levels. It was created with direct input from teachers, parents and education specialists.
Conceived in 2006 by writer, blogger and mother-of-four Maria Tedeschi, Junior Storytellers was produced by two award-winning companies in children's content and digital entertainment – Media Farm and The Project Factory.

The School Edition contains eight ‘story packs’ including Jungle Adventure, Space Odyssey, Pirate Treasures, Chinese New Year, Fairytale Fantasy, Australian Outback Adventure, Monster Mayhem and Beach Day. Future story packs will be added to current owners at no cost. They can be purchased individually for 99c (Freemium version) or as a bundle (School Edition) for $4.99.
