1. The Great Chip Bonanza promotion will be held at SKYCITY Darwin between Thursday 6th
November and Saturday 13th December 2014.
2. Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night throughout the promotional period, there will
be half hourly draws between 9pm and midnight.
3. The following are ineligible to enter this promotion:
i. SKYCITY staff, of any capacity
ii. Spouses and/or de-facto spouses of SKYCITY staff
iii. Persons under the age of 18 years
iv. Any person who at the time of the promotion/draw is excluded under the relevant
provisions of the Northern Territory Gaming Legislation.
4. This promotion is not exclusive to Action members.
5. Prizes
The total prize value for this promotion is $30,600. All prizes are Gaming Chips.
On each draw day:
Half Hourly Draws - A draw for $200 worth of Gaming Chips will be held every
half an hour between 9pm & 11.30pm
Midnight Draw - A draw for $500 worth of Gaming Chips will be held at 12am

6. To be eligible to participate in The Great Chip Bonanza Promotion a person needs to be
actively playing on a Table. All Tables open to the public on the Main Gaming Floor except
Poker Tables are included in this promotion.
7. Half Hourly Draws
On each day of the promotion, half hourly draws will be undertaken between 9.30pm and
11.30pm and proceed in the following manner:

a) A table will be randomly selected by using the Hot Seat Promotion software V1.1.0.
b) The Action Shift Supervisor will perform the draw at the randomly selected Table, if
the Table is populated by at least three active players. If the table is not, another
Table will be selected as per (a).
c) Each player at the Table will be asked to randomly select a numbered ball from a
velvet bag, containing a number of identical balls with various numbers on them.
d) The player who has selected the ball with the highest number on it will win the $200
worth of Cash Gaming Chips and be presented with the prize.
8. Following each half hourly draw, the Action Shift Supervisor will give all active players on
every Table except Poker, an entry ticket for the Midnight Draw for that night only. Entry
Tickets are to be filled in by the player and placed in the ‘Great Chip Bonanza’ entry barrel.
9. Tickets may be placed in the designated barrel up until 11:59 pm on that night, one
minute before the midnight draw.
10. It is the ticket holder’s responsibility to fill in their details on the entry ticket and to place
the ticket into the designated barrel. To accurately complete an entry ticket, the minimum
information a player must include is their Full Name (first and last name) and Action Card
Number (if an Action Member) or Telephone Number (if a Non Member). If an entry ticket
does not have their Full Name and Action Number or Contact Number on it, the entry will
be a void.
11. Only one name can be entered on each ticket. If more than one person’s name is recorded
on a ticket, the entry will be void.
12. Entry tickets must be clear and readable. Illegible entries will be considered invalid.
13. There is no cap on the number of entry tickets a person can enter.
14. SKYCITY Darwin reserves the right to award entry tickets to members at its discretion.
15. Midnight Draw
On each day of the promotion the midnight draw will proceed in the following manner:
a) One (1) entry ticket will be drawn from the barrel and the ticket holder invited to the
draw area.
b) Once the winning ticket holders ID has been verified, the MC will announce them as
the winner of that draw.
c) The winner will be presented with $500 worth of Gaming Chips.
ii. All names placed in the barrel must correspond with the person who presents them self as
the winner of the draw and suitable identification will be sought.
iii. Any member, who is called at the nominated time of any draw, must be present at
SKYCITY Darwin. Their name will be called three (3) times over the public address system
and they will have three (3) minutes to present themselves to the MC. The three (3) minute
period will begin after their name has been called the third time.
iv. If a name is drawn and the person fails to present them self to the MC within the
specified time, the MC of the draw will select another name from the barrel. If this person
fails to present them self to the MC within the time specified in item 20.iii then another
name will be drawn from the barrel and this process will continue until a winner has been
found.

16. For the purpose of verifying a winning entrant at the draw, patrons must present their
Action card or valid government issued photo identification to the staff member operating
the draw.
17. Valid government issued photo identification will be asked for in addition to the persons
Action card if required, to verify the person listed on the winning ticket is the person who
presents themselves as the winner of the draw.
18. Entrants must be present at the prize draw at SKYCITY Darwin to be eligible to win a prize.
Winning entries will be verified in accordance with items 16 and 17.
19. Management’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered in to.
20. SKYCITY Darwin reserves the right to alter or cancel any aspect of this promotion at any
time.
21. In the event of any dispute, the decision of management is final subject to (upon request)
a review by the Director of Licensing, Gambling and Licensing Services, NT Department of
Business.
22. All prizes for this promotion are Gaming Chips. There are no alternative prizes offered.
23. The total value of all prizes for this promotion is $30,600.
24. SKYCITY Darwin will not enter in to negotiations with members regarding substitution of
prizes. It is the responsibility of the member to be aware what prizes are available prior to
entering the promotion.
25. SKYCITY Darwin shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered
(including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is
suffered or sustained, as a result of taking any of the prizes, except for any liability which
cannot be excluded by law.
26. SKYCITY Darwin reserves the right to use publicity photos, in any reasonable manner they
see fit, unless that person advises SKYCITY Darwin at the time of entering the promotion
that they wish to retain their anonymity. Entrants also acknowledge that their photo may
be used for promotional display at SKYCITY Darwin or on the SKYCITY Darwin website.
27. Your information is used for the purpose of entering you in the promotion. We may also
send you information about our products and services. You may request access to your
