1. Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
2. This is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the Winner.
3. Entry to the Promotion commences on Saturday, 1st November 2014 at 9am AEDST and closes
on Monday, 15th December 2014 at 11.59am AEDST (“Promotional Period”).
4. To enter the Promotion, entrants will need to complete a vehicle rental with the Promoter during
the Promotional Period, being recognised as an eligible Virgin Australia guest.
5. An eligible Virgin Australia guest means someone who has booked their Europcar car rental
through one of the following channels, with a dedicated Virgin Australia promotional code
attached to the rental agreement:
a. Virgin Australia website (either on a standalone basis via the following website
(www.virginaustralia.com/cars) or while booking a flight on the Virgin Australia
website)
b. By phoning Virgin Australia’s Guest Contact Centre
c. Promoter’s website (www.europcar.com.au/virginaustralia)
d. By phoning the Promoter’s Reservations Call Centre
e. By presenting a Virgin Australia boarding pass to the Promoter’s rental counter
6. A Bonus Entry to the Promotion will be granted to all renters who attach a Velocity Frequent
Flyer membership number to the vehicle rental within the Promotional Period. The name of
the main driver must match the name of the Velocity Frequent Flyer membership in order for
the entry to be eligible.
7. The addition of the Velocity Frequent Flyer membership number can be entered during the
reservation process, whilst picking up the rental vehicle or post rental. However, in order to be
eligible, post rental additions must be completed by Monday 8th December 2014.
8. There is one (1) Major Prize. The Major Prize of a VIP Travel Package is for one individual or
company:
a. $5,000 car rental account from the Promoter
b. $5,000 Virgin Australia Gift Voucher
c. 12 month complimentary Virgin Australia lounge membership
d. 24 month complimentary Elite membership with the Promoters Privilege loyalty
program (“the Major Prize”)
9. The total value of the Major Prize is $10,000.
10. The major prize must be utilised during the 2015 calendar year and any unused funds will be
forfeited by the Winner.
11. The Prize cannot be redeemed for cash and is not transferable.
12. Car rental account use is subject to the Promoter’s standard rental Terms and Conditions
available at europcar.com.au
13. The Virgin Australia Gift Voucher is valid for bookings made within 12 months from the date of
issue unless otherwise stated on the Voucher. The Virgin Australia Gift Voucher will expire at
midnight on the expiry date stated on the front of the Voucher and cannot be extended.
Booking can be for travel dates after the expiry date. Virgin Australia Gift Vouchers are valid
for any scheduled Virgin Australia flight, and any published Virgin Australia Holidays package
booking (excluding Cruise packages and Mystery Breaks) sold in AUD and NZD only. The
Voucher Number must be quoted at the time of booking. Virgin Australia Gift Vouchers are
subject to the Gift Voucher Terms of Use which are available at

14. Travel on Virgin Australia flights is subject to Virgin Australia’s Conditions of Carriage, which
are available at http://www.virginaustralia.com/au/en/about-us/legal-policies/conditions-ofcarriage/
and are subject to change. Bookings are subject to the Fare Rules applicable to your
fare and are available here: http://www.virginaustralia.com/au/en/plan/fare-types/. Virgin
Australia Gift Vouchers cannot be used to book:
a. codeshare flights that are not sold on the Virgin Australia website;
b. flights that include Velocity Frequent Flyer Points as a method of payment, including
Reward Seat, Any Seat or Any Seat, Any Airline bookings; or
c. flights where insurance has been selected as part of the booking.
15. Velocity Frequent Flyer membership is subject to the Member Terms and Conditions,
available at velocityfrequentflyer.com, as amended from time to time.
16. Privilege membership is subject to Member Terms and Conditions, available at
europcar.com.au, as amended from time to time.
17. Entrants must be residents of Australia or New Zealand aged 21 years and over to enter the
Promotion. In order to claim the car rental element of the major prize the winner must be fully
licensed within Australia or New Zealand.
18. The Major Prize draw will be conducted at the offices of Europcar Australia 189 South Centre
Rd Tullamarine Victoria 3043 at 9am AEDST on Monday 22nd December 2014. The Winner
will be drawn at random and will be contacted by phone, email and their details published on
Facebook.
19. The Major Prize winner will have their details published in The Australian Newspaper on
Friday 9th January 2015.
20. Should the Major Prize be unclaimed, a second chance draw will be held on Monday 23rd
March 2015 at 9am AEST at the offices of Europcar Australia 189 South Centre Rd
Tullamarine VIC 3043. Winner will be drawn at random and will be contacted by phone, email
and their details published on Facebook, with the winners details published in The Australian
Newspaper on Friday 27th February 2015.
21. Entries that do not comply with these Terms are invalid. The Promoter reserves the right, at
any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants as required (including an entrant’s
identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who is not in accordance
with these Terms and Conditions.
22. The Promoter reserves the right to request the Winner provide suitable identification of proof
of age and identity prior to awarding the Major Prize.
23. The Promoter reserves the right to announce and/or publish the Winners’ name for publicity
purposes.
24. The Promoter may at its absolute discretion, suspend, cancel or recommence the Promotion if
(a) for any reason the Promotion is not capable of proceeding as planned; (b) if the Promotion
is corrupted or the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the
Promotion is affected; or (c) if the determination of the winners or delivery of prizes is
prevented or hindered by any event outside the Promoter’s control subject to approval by
relevant state regulatory authorities.
25. Except for any liability not excluded by law, entrants release and indemnify the Promoter from
and against all actions, claims and liabilities, that the entrant now has or in the future may
have against the Promoter for any loss, damage or injury (including any special or
consequential loss) suffered as a direct or indirect result of the Entrant’s participation in the
Promotion.
26. The Promoter’s decision in relation to this Promotion is final and binding on entrants and the
Promoter will not enter into any correspondence.
27. By entering the Promotion, entrants consent to their personal information being used by the
Promoter, the Franchise and/or its related entities for the purpose of conducting this
Promotion and notifying the Winner. All personal details of the entrant will be stored at the
offices of the Promoter. A request to access, update or correct any information should be
directed to that office.
28. The Promoter is CLA Trading Pty Ltd trading as Europcar Australia ABN 81 082 220 399, 189
South Centre Road, Tullamarine, Victoria, 3043 (“Promoter”).
29. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this
promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, exspouse,
de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent,
grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother,
stepsister or 1st cousin.
30. Virgin Australia Airlines Pty Ltd, Velocity Frequent Flyer Pty Ltd and their related companies
(Virgin Australia Group) are collecting your personal information for the purpose of providing
you with your prize for the Europcar – VIP Travel Promotion (Promotion). If you do not
provide us with certain information, we will not be able to provide you with your Prize. The
Virgin Australia Group may disclose your personal information to its contractors and agents to
assist in facilitating the provision of your Prize or communicating with you. The Virgin
Australia Group may also disclose your personal information to its related companies and
third parties who provide (or help the Virgin Australia Group provide) products and services,
some of whom may be located overseas including France, Germany, Hong Kong, India ,
Ireland, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, The Philippines, Turkey, UK and USA. The

31. You consent to the Virgin Australia Group using your personal information for future
