THE CHANCE TO WIN $50,000
TERMS OF ENTRY
This competition (the “Promotion”) is conducted by Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Australia Pty Limited ABN 39 152 425 735 of Level 30, 1 Market Street, Sydney, NSW 2000 (the “Promoter”).
Entry to the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. By entering the Promotion, entrants accept and acknowledge full responsibility for their decision to participate in the Promotion and to take the Prize if they are the winner.
All entry instructions and Prize information published by the Promoter form part of these Terms and Conditions.
The Promotion is open to all residents of Australia aged eighteen (18) years or over. The Promoter reserves the right to request any entrant to provide documentary evidence confirming his/her age. Employees of Woolworths Limited ABN 88 000 014 675 trading as Big W (“Big W”), the Promoter and their associated companies and agents, and the immediate family members of such employees are not eligible to enter the Promotion.
The Promotion commences at 09:00 (EST) on Saturday 1st October 2016, and ends at 24:00 (EST) on Monday 31st October 2016 (“Promotion Period”).
Entrance to the Promotion is via the competition website
www.bigw.com.au and requires entrants to purchase any Two (2) Halloween costumes or accessories or Ghostbusters products from a participating Big W store in the same transaction (“Qualifying Purchase”). The purchase receipt/invoice for a Qualifying Purchase will contain a message at the bottom of the receipt/invoice confirming that the purchaser is eligible to enter into a prize draw for the chance to win $50,000. To enter, the eligible purchaser must visit the Website to complete the entry form, including by providing their name, email address,Multiple entries are permitted, subject to the following (a) only one (1) entry is permitted per Qualifying Purchase; (b) entries that are submitted multiple times under the same receipt/invoice number will be invalid; (c) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with the entry requirements; and unrecognized receipt/invoice numbers will be deemed invalid.
Entrants must: (a) retain a copy of store receipt (s) or order invoice (s) as proof of purchase for ALL entries. (Receipt(s)/order invoice(s) must clearly specify the store of purchase and show that the purchase was made during the Promotion Period but prior to entry.); and (b) where an entrant submits more than twenty (20) entries, for each product used for his/her 21st and subsequent entries, the entrant must keep the whole label/packaging from the product purchased and used to enter; (together, Promotional Materials). Failure to provide the Promotional Materials when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, render all of an entrant’s entries invalid and forfeit their right to any prize.
The Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
An entrant’s entry must not be, without limitation: a) Late; b) Delayed; c) Incomplete; d) Incomprehensible; e) Unlawful; f) Obscene; g) Defamatory; h) Libelous; i) Threatening; j) Pornographic; k) Harassing; l) Hateful; m) Racially or ethnically offensive; n) Capable of encouraging conduct that would be considered a criminal offence; o) Capable of violating any law; and/or p) Capable of giving rise to civil liability.
PRIZE: One major Prize of $50,000.00 to be awarded to one eligible entrant aged eighteen (18) or over. The total prize pool value of this Promotion is $50,000.00
An electronic random prize draw from all eligible entries received will be conducted at 11:00am (AEST), 14th November 2016 at Big W Support Office, 1 Woolworths Way, Bella Vista, NSW 2153. The winner will be contacted by email using the email address or phone number supplied as part of the winner’s entry and will be published on
www.bigw.com.au from 14h November 2016.
If a winner is unable to be contacted or does not claim their Prize within forty-eight (48) hours of being declared the winner, their Prize will be forfeited.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry or entrant that fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, whether caused by infection by computer virus, mobile phone failure, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory Authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion.
The Promoter reserves the right to close the competition earlier than advertised and the winner will be drawn from entries received to that time.
The personally identifiable information you provide in connection with the Promotion will be collected, stored and used in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, located at
http://www.ultravioletuniversal.com/legal/privacypolicy.aspx. If you do not provide us with this information, we cannot process your entry and/or enter you into the Promotion. The Promoter will disclose your personal information to Big W to enable Big W to market its products and services to you. Big W complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and will only use your personal information in accordance with its privacy policy, which is available at
www.bigw.com.au.
Entrants agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Promoter, Big W and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (the “Indemnified Parties”) from and against any claims made by the winner, entrants, or any other third parties, related in any way to the operation of this Promotion as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any Prize or participation in any Promotion-related activity or participation in this Promotion.
