MyCityLife are giving away 10 x double passes to an advance screening of THE DEATH OF STALIN at 6:30pm, Wednesday March 28 at Palace Barracks Cinema.

Coming from the wickedly satirical and hilarious political works of Armando Iannucci, The Death of Stalin is an audacious comedy and takedown of bureaucratic dysfunction. Set in Moscow 1953, the film follows the events of tyrannical dictator Joseph Stalin's death, in which his parasitic cronies square off in a frantic power struggle to be the next Soviet leader.

Among the contenders are the dweeby Georgy Malenkov (Jeffrey Tambor), the wily Nikita Khrushchev (Steve Buscemi), and the sadistic secret police chief Lavrentiy Beria (Simon Russell Beale). But as they bumble, brawl, and backstab their way to the top, the question must be asked - who is running the government?
