From Friday 20th – Friday 27th August 2010, listeners will have the chance to win the opportunity for their soccer team to run alongside the Brisbane ROAR on Saturday 18 September 2010. They will also receive 3x tickets to the game each & a merchandise pack.

SCHEDULE

Commencement date: Friday 20th August 2010
Closing Date:  Friday 27th August 2010
Minimum Age – Entrants must be between 6 to 12 years of age to enter the competition.
Limitation of entry – Entry into the competition is limited to the number of entries specified in Schedule 3 (if so specified)
Winner selection date and time –Winners will be selected on Friday 27th August 2010.

Winner selection publication details:  All contestants acknowledge as a condition of entry that 97.3Fm has the right to publicise or broadcast his / her name, character, likeness, voice on all matters incidental therein.  All contest winners must avail themselves for a photo if required by 97.3Fm and acknowledge that 97.3Fm has the right to utilise publicity photos in any reasonable manner it sees fit.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. THE PROMOTER:

This competition is promoted by 97.3Fm and Brisbane ROAR  

2. PROMOTION DATES:

This competition commences on the date specified in Schedule 1 and ends on the date as specified in Schedule 2.

3. WHO MAY ENTER:

The only persons who may enter and be awarded prizes are those who have attained the age specified in Condition 3 (if so specified), who are not:

employees of, or contractors to, the Promoter or any of its agencies involved with this competition; or

the spouse, de facto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), of such employees and contractors (whether or not they live in the same household).

iii)        contestants who have won a prize/prizes valued either individually or collectively at $200 or more from the Promoter or in any contest run by the Promoter in the prior 30 days.

iv)        they are discovered to have used or attempted to use any more than one name on order to qualify to win any contest run by the Promoter except in the case of a legal change of name.

v)         they have won a prize valued at $1,000 or more from the Promoter or in any contest run by the Promoter in the prior 90 days.

they have won a prize valued at $5,000 or more from the Promoter or in any contest run by the Promoter in the prior 12 months.

contestants who have won a prize/prizes valued either individually or collectively at $500 or more from the Promoter or in any contest run by the Promoter in the prior 60 days

One winner per person/household for the duration of the competition.

All contestants acknowledge that the Promoter can rely on Clause 3 (Who may Enter) and even if the Promoter only learns of a person’s ineligibility after the promoter has appeared to award the prize to the ineligible person.  Return of the prize or payment of its value to the Promoter can be required by the Promoter if this occurs.

4. LIMITATIONS ON ENTRY:

Entry into the competition is limited to the number of entries specified in Schedule3 (if so specified).  – Cost of entry is decided by cost of phone call from a local or mobile phone.

Attempts to exceed this limitation by use of more than one name will invalidate all entries made by the person in breach of this limitation. 97.3Fm reserves the right to disallow a prizewinner if he/she is found to be in breach of these Conditions of Entry.

5. PRIZE:

All prize items are valued inclusive of GST and the Promoter takes no responsibility for any variation in item values.  Any taxes which may be payable as a consequence of a winner receiving the prize are the sole responsibility of that winner.

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.  If the specified prize becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter is under no obligation to substitute a prize of like or equal value. Unless otherwise specified the class of travel for any travel prize incorporating an airfare is economy.  Any additional fares, eg, for carers of disabled children are the responsibility of the prize winner. Any additional costs incurred for other immediate family members that will be travelling are the responsibility of the prizewinner.  Any tax payable as a result of a prize being awarded or received will be the winner’s responsibility.

6. PRIZE NOTIFICATION AND PUBLICATION:

Winners will be notified by phone using the details provided upon entering the competition, and the name and suburb of the winners will be published as specified in Schedule 6.

7. SELECTION OF WINNERS:

The winner will be selected at the date and time specified in Schedule 1 - 2.

The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

9. PUBLICITY:

Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for the Promoter to use winner’s name, suburb of residence, recording of winner’s voice and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without compensation, unless otherwise prohibited by law.

10. UNCLAIMED PRIZE DRAW:

All prizes that remain unclaimed ninety (90) days after notification has been sent to the winner will be drawn in an Unclaimed Prize Draw, held ninety (90) days after the close of the competition as specified in Schedule 2.   The judges’ decision is final with no further correspondence entered into.

11. EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY:

The Promoter takes no responsibility for the loss of prizes due to incorrect or imprecise delivery details provided by an entrant.  The Promoter also takes no responsibility for prizes lost or stolen after they have been released for delivery via postage or courier.  The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality/suitability/merchantability of any of the goods/services offered as prizes.  To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained to personal property and including, but not limited to consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to the prize winner(s) and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the winners.
