A Mum who’s worked tirelessly in the school tuckshop each day for 10 years for no pay? A Grandmother who’s taken on full time care of all her grandchildren?

We want to know about your TrueLocal Hero and we want to find five TrueLocal Heroes and reward each of them with a $1,000!!

In twenty-five (25) words or less … “Who is your True Local Hero and why?”.

ITEM 5: PROMOTION REGISTRATION DATES AND TIMES
Registrations will open from 6am on Monday 6th September 2010 and will close at 5pm on Thursday 16th September 2010 (“Registration Period”).
The Promoter reserves the right to extend the Registration Period at its own discretion.

ITEM 7: ENTRANT RESTRICTIONS
Entry is available to permanent residents of:
- South Australia
Entrants must be aged 18 years and over.
A person is ineligible to participate in the Competition and redeem any prizes if they have won a prize valued at $10,000 or more in any competition run by the Promoter 6 months prior to their Entry in this Competition.
ITEM 8: METHOD OF ENTRY
During the Registration Period listeners need to go to the website and register their details and tell us, in twenty-five (25) words or less … “Who is your True Local Hero and why?”.
These stories will be judged, with a Triple M announcer chatting to the five (5) winners on the phone when they are rewarding them with a cheque for $1,000 each.
ITEM 9: JUDGING DETAILS
Five of the most original/creative/humorous Entries will be selected as winners at the discretion of the Promoter and contacted on-air on one of the days between 6am and 9am from Monday 13th September 2010 and Friday 17th September 2010 (weekdays only).
