 HEY HEY IT’S SATURDAY – WOT CHEEZUS ME ORF COMPETITION (“THE COMPETITION”)
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entries not
completed in accordance with the Conditions of Entry or received after close of entry will not
be considered. Incomplete, illegible, indecipherable or inaudible entries will be disregarded.
The judge’s decision in relation to all aspects of the promotion is final and binding on every
person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.

2. Entry is only open to residents of Australia, except for employees of the Promoter, The Nine
Network, ACP Magazines Ltd, ninemsn Pty Ltd, Ticketek Pty Ltd, 5th Finger Pty Ltd and their
immediate families, and all companies and agencies associated with this promotion.
REGISTRATION PROCESS

3. The Competition commences at 00:01 AEDT on Monday 03/10/10. Entries close on Friday
29th October 2010 at 18:00 AEDT (or last mail on 28th October 2010 for postal entries). The
Promotional Period. For the removal of doubt, all entries received during the promotion will be
included into the judging for each WOT CHEEZUS ME ORF segment/competition.

4. All entries will be judged on the basis of how humorous, witty, creative and relevant to the
promotion the entry is. Entrants are asked to let us know ‘wot cheezus them orf’ or what
annoys them. Judging will be carried out throughout the entire promotional period. The judges
will select entries to be shown during the Hey Hey it’s Saturday WOT CHEEZUS ME ORF
segment, to be broadcast once (1 time) between 16/10/2010 and 30/10/2010 For the removal
of doubt all entries received up until 24 hours before the segment within Hey Hey it’s Saturday
will be included into the Judging.

5. There are two ways of registering for the WOT CHEEZUS ME ORF competition:
Email: Participants can email details of ‘what cheezus them orf’ to wcmo@heyhey.tv along
with
• Their name, address, mobile/landline numbers and any other contact details.
Post: Participants can post their entries in to:
WOT CHEEZUS ME ORF
Hey Hey It’s Saturday
PO BOX 100
Richmond Victoria 3121
along with
• Their name, address, mobile/landline numbers and any other contact details.
• A written explanation of what ‘cheezus them orf’


6. Entrant must ensure that original items are not sent in to this competition as no postal entries
will be returned.

7. No responsibility accepted for late, lost, misdirected, incomplete or inaudible entries.

8. Multiple entries will be accepted but each entry must be unique and sent via the entry
mechanism outlined above.

SELECTION OF THE WOT CHEEZUS ME ORF WINNERS

9. Each time the segment ‘WOT CHEEZUS ME ORF’ airs within the Hey Hey it’s Saturday
program, the promoter shall choose up to 4 entries to be shown, based on humor, wit,
creativity and relevance to the promotion. These entries will be shown on air.

10. Each entry shall receive twelve (12) months of broadband connection and a Fetch TV
subscription including a BoB (modem) and Fetch TV box valued at $1567 each package.

11. The total prize pool is valued at up to $6268.


12. The winner’s details shall be published in the Australian on Thursday 21st October 2010.

13. This is a game of skill with chance playing no part in determining the winner. Each entry will
be individually judged based on the criteria outlined above.

14. The Promoter reserves the right to request that Participants provide proof of identity.
Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.

15. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole
discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.

16. Winners will be notified via mail and email.

17. If the winner of any prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the
winner's nominated parent or guardian.

18. If for any reason a winner does not take the prize or an element of the prize by the time
stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited.

19. In the event that a prize, or part of a prize, is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to
substitute the prize of part of the prize in its discretion with an alternative prize or part of the
prize to the same and equal recommended retail value and/or specification.

20. All prizes must be taken as offered. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not
transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash. The prize is valued in
Australian dollars. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value.
Prize winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they
should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of their prize. In the event that a
potion of the prize is awarded to the winner in the form of a voucher / ticket / pass, redemption
of that portion of the prize will be subject to the terms and conditions stipulated on the voucher
/ ticket / pass. The Promoter will not be liable for any voucher / ticket / pass that has been lost,
stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way.

21. It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner agrees to be interviewed, photographed
and filmed at any time during the acceptance of the prize by the Promoter or their agents for a
story or feature on this promotion to be developed and featured on the Nine Network (or any
other form of media it deems suitable) without further remuneration or reference to the
participant. Details may feature on Nine Network on a date to be determined by the
Promoters. The inclusion of any such feature (including but not limited to creative control of
the feature) will remain with the Promoter at all times.

22. The Promoter reserves the right to verify, at any time during or after the closing of the
promotion, the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry
process, including techniques designed to avoid payment of call costs or who submits an entry
that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry. SMS entries via the internet are not
valid and will not be accepted. The use of any automated entry software, or any other
mechanical or electronic means, that permits the participant to automatically enter repeatedly
are not valid and will not be accepted. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's
discretion. Failure of the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute
a waiver of those rights.

23. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by
the phone user or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this
competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course
of the administration of this competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect,
delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite
network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.

24. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned (including but not
limited to) technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the
control of the Promoter which corrupts or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity
or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to
disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and, , to cancel, terminate,
modify or suspend the competition.

25. When an entrant submits any materials via the Promotion including comments, recordings and
images (“Content”), the entrant, to the extent possible and unless the Promoter requires
otherwise, licenses and grants the Promoter, its affiliates and sub-licensees a non-exclusive,
royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce,
modify, adapt, publish and display such Content for any purpose in any media, without
compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability. Entrants agree not to assert any moral
rights in relation to such use and warrant that they have the full authority to grant these rights.
Entrants agree that they are fully responsible for the Content they submit. The Promoter shall
not be liable in any way for such Content to the full extent permitted by law. Entrants warrant
and agree that: (a) they will not submit any Content that is unlawful or fraudulent, or that the
Promoter may deem in breach of any intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights,
defamatory, obscene, derogatory, pornographic, sexually inappropriate, violent, abusive,
harassing, threatening, objectionable with respect to race, religion, origin or gender, not
suitable for children aged under 15, or otherwise unsuitable for publication; (b) they will obtain
prior consent from any person or property that appears in their Content; (c) they will obtain full
prior consent from any person who has jointly created or has any rights in the Content, to the
uses and terms herein; (d) their Content shall not contain viruses or cause injury or harm to
any person or entity; and (e) they will comply with all applicable laws and regulations,
including without limitation, those governing copyright, content, defamation, privacy, publicity
and the access or use of others' computer or communication systems.
Without limiting any other terms herein, the entrant agrees to indemnify the Promoter for any
breach of the above terms.

26. All entries (which shall include photographs) submitted become the property of the Promoter.
Entries will not be returned to any entrant. As a condition of entering into this promotion, each
entrant licences the Promoter to use their entry in any media for an unlimited period for any
reason including but not limited to future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes. Each
entrant warrants to the Promoter that each entry submitted is an original artistic/literary work of
the entrant that does not infringe the rights of any third party. The entrant agrees to indemnify
the Promoter against all costs and claims by third parties arising from a breach of this
warranty. Entrants consent to any use of their entry which may otherwise infringe their moral
rights pursuant to the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).

27. As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner must sign any legal documentation as and in
the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including
but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.

28. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information in connection with this promotion
are governed by the Promoter’s Privacy Notice and these Conditions of Entry. The Promoter
may use information it collects in relation to you to provide you with information regarding
further offers, promotions or goods and services provided by the Promoter and/or the
Promoter’s partners and sponsors. The Promoter may also disclose information about you to
its service providers to enable the Promoter to provide you with services. Your personal
information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names
published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. You consent to the Promoter’s use
and disclosure of information about you as contemplated by this condition.

29. To the full extent permitted by law, The Promoter will not be liable to the entrant in respect of
any claim for any loss or damage whatsoever (including, without limitation, any consequential,
indirect, special, punitive or incidental damages) or for any personal injury suffered by you as
a result of or in connection with the Promoter’s provision of the Service. Certain legislation
may imply warranties or conditions or impose obligations (collectively Provisions) in relation to
the Promoter’s provision of services to you which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified
except to a limited extent. If those Provisions apply, to the extent that the Promoter is entitled
to do so, the Promoter’s limits its liability in respect of any claim under those Provisions to, at
the Promoter’s option, the supply of the relevant services again or the payment of the costs of
having the services supplied again.
