NAME OUR REINDEER Member Promotion Terms & Conditions of Entry
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.
2. Entry into the Co-op Bookshop Promotion is deemed to be an acceptance of these Conditions of Entry. The competition is in 2 parts.
3. NAME OUR REINDEER Member Promotion commences 1st November 2010 at 12.01am AEST and entries close at 23.59pm AEST on Sunday 19th December 2010 (Promotion Period). Final Name winner will be announced Monday 20th December 2010. NAME OUR REINDEER Member Promotion PART A commences 1st November 12.01am AEST and entries close 12th December 17.00pm AEST. NAME OUR REINDEER Member Promotion PART B commences 13th December 10.00am and entries close 20th December 09.59am AEST
4. Entry is only open to Co-op Bookshop Members living in Australia. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, or agencies or companies associated with the conduct of this Promotion, are ineligible to enter.
5. For a chance to win one (1) of five (5) book packs in NAME OUR REINDEER Member Promotion PART A follow these steps:
a. Be a Member of the Co-op Bookshop;
b. Send an email to reindeer@coop-bookshop.com.au with a name for our reindeer, along with your full name, Co-op Member number and postal address.
6. Only one entry/name suggestion per Member.
7. There will be five (5) entries / name suggested selected for a shortlist. The selection will be made by a panel of Co-op Bookshop Employees. The 5 Members whose name suggestions make the shortlist are the winners.
a. Should a name be suggested in more than one entry by multiple Members the first valid entry is the winner.
b. The shortlist will be selected by the promoter. Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
c. Prizes will be posted to the winners at the address provided as per condition 5.
8. The shortlist winners will each receive a random selection of items featured in the 2010 Co-op Bookshop Christmas Catalogue to the value of RRP $250.00. Total prize pool for NAME OUR REINDEER Member Promotion PART A $1,250.
9. The five (5) shortlisted names will be added to the Co-op Bookshop Facebook Page (see links on the Co-op Online www.coop-bookshop.com.au) on 13th December.This marks the start of NAME OUR REINDEER Member Promotion PART B
10. For your chance to win a random prize from the Co-op Bookshop vote for your favourite Reindeer name. Prizes will be given away randomly to those who vote during the time frame outlined in T&C 3.b. Random prizes will be items featured in the Co-op Bookshop Christmas Catalogue. Total value of random prizes $500.00.
11. The winner from NAME OUR REINDEER Member Promotion PART A whose shortlisted Reindeer name has the most votes in NAME OUR REINDEER Member Promotion PART B will be the overall winner receiving a Co-op Bookshop Gift Voucher of $250.00.
12. Total prize pool of NAME OUR REINDEER Member Promotion PART B is $750.00. Total prize pool NAME OUR REINDEER Member Promotion $2,250.00
13. Prizes cannot be transferred, exchanged nor can non-cash prizes redeemed for cash. The Promoter retains the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value (including where the prize is unavailable), subject to approval of the gaming authorities in each State and Territory where relevant.
14. The Promoter and its associated agencies or companies accept no responsibility for lost, late, stolen, damaged or misdirected entries.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to validate and check the authenticity entries, and to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process, or who submit an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
16. Entry details become the property of the Promoter and may be used for promotional purposes by the Promoter, unless the winner otherwise notifies the Promoter at the time of accepting their prize. Entry details will be used to update Co-op Member profile information.
17. You must not submit an entry, which is unlawful, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
18. If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter reserves the right in its discretion to modify the terms of the Promotion including the prizes and these Conditions of Entry, subject to approval of the gaming authorities in each State and Territory where relevant.
19. Any tax liability arising as a result of accepting any prize is the responsibility of the winner.
20. The Promoter has no control over internet or mobile telephone communications, networks, bugs, viruses, server problems or lines and accepts no responsibility for any problems associated with them, for whatever reason.
21. The Promoter will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage of any nature whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) that is suffered or sustained as a result of or in connection with receiving, taking or using any prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
22. All claims and entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter requires your personal information in order to conduct the Promotion. If you do not provide the mandatory personal information requested then you will not be able to take part in the Promotion. By entering this Promotion, each entrant is taken to consent to the Promoter using the entrant’s personal information to administer the Promotion, announce the winner and disclosing the entrant’s personal information to organisations that assist the Promoter with administering the Promotion and announcing the winner, and to third parties as required by law (including authorities that regulate this Promotion). The Promoter is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and by entering the Promotion, the entrant is taken to consent to the Promoter’s privacy policy (which is available on request). By entering into this Promotion, each entrant also consents to the Promoter using their personal information for future marketing purposes, unless otherwise advised by the entrant. An entrant may access and correct any personal information held by the Promoter, upon request to the Promoter.
