The zoo recently celebrated the birth of a pygmy hippo calf 'Kambiri'. Visitors can see mother and calf swim together in the morning, then find a sunny patch to bask in the sun afterwards. Koala Walkabout has been newly renovated just in time for the arrival of two new
joeys. Newest exhibits include The Tasmanian Devil Conservation Centre and the transformed Giraffe exhibit where visitors can hand feed the giraffe whose long blue tongues snatch carrots out of vistor's hands.
