The Secret to Wellness during Pregnancy; Postural Imbalances that limit  your Ideal Birth and Bonding  – Nimrod Weiner
Bonding is that vital link between you and your baby, that allows for a more settled baby, with easier breastfeeding and a greater connection. The ideal process of bonding does not happen as often as we would like and there are structural imbalances that can prevent you and your baby from bonding, from in pregnancy and the moment your baby is born. Dr. Nimrod Weiner, a chiropractor, who has completed post-graduate studies in Paediatrics, will discuss these postural imbalances and help you learn ways to identify and correct these, in a practical session, by getting you to participate and get hands on advice and help. Planning a Natural Birth & Harnessing Natural Pain Management – Erika Elliot
What  is natural birth?  Is it a blissful, powerful and transformative experience, without the need of any intervention?  How do we prepare ourselves in such a way that we can look forward to a natural birthing experience?
Erika explores the modern day concept of a ‘natural birth’ and encourages you to connect with your own personal beliefs about birth and why you have them.  You will also get to experience a powerful tool that is widely used to manage the intensity of a natural birth.

Choices in Birth: How to make the right choice for you – Michelle Meares
This session will outline the decisions and choices a woman will face during pregnancy and birth – choice of care provider/ choice of place of birth, including a discussion about the use of statistics to help inform your birth choices.
You will also be informed about consent and a woman’s rights in labour and birth and how you can communicate with care providers.
Michelle Meares is one of the founding member of www.mybirth.com.au a resource gathered from information from  books, brochures, medical documents, research papers, government reports, speaking to midwives, doctors and qualified doulas.
