Everyday Rewards Sweepstakes - Terms & Conditions of Entry



The Everyday Rewards Sweepstakes (the "Promotion") is a promotion conducted under the Other Benefits component of the Everyday Rewards Program.

    Information on how to enter the Promotion and a description of the prizes that may be won in the Promotion form part of these Terms & Conditions of Entry. Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions of Entry. Entries not complying with these Terms & Conditions of Entry are ineligible and the Promoter reserves its absolute right to disqualify any Cardholder from the Promotion if any entries do not comply with these Terms & Conditions of Entry.
    The Promotion is open to registered Everyday Rewards members who shop at a Participating Woolworths supermarket, BWS Store (excluding Tasmania), BIG W or Dick Smith store and have Registered for the Everyday Rewards Program. Entry into the Promotion is free. Directors, management and employees of Salmat Pty Ltd and its agencies directly associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter.

    These Terms & Conditions of Entry will be displayed at everydayrewards.com.au at the commencement of the Promotion.
    Definitions within this Promotion:

  
Card means an Everyday Rewards Card issued by the Promoter as part of the Everyday Rewards Program.
  
Cardholder means a person who holds an Everyday Rewards Card, and who is Registered according to the Everyday Rewards Program database.
  
Participating Division means a Participating Woolworths or Safeway supermarket and BWS store (excluding Tasmania), BIG W and Dick Smith stores.
  
Promotion means the Everyday Rewards Sweepstakes promotion governed by these Terms & Conditions of Entry and conducted as a promotion under the Other Benefits component of the Everyday Rewards Program.

Promotional Period means 00:01 02 May 2011 AEST to 23:59 24 July 2011 AEST
  
Registered means that all mandatory Cardholder information has been correctly completed in the legal name of the Cardholder, according to the Everyday Rewards database.
  
Eligible Purchase A purchase at a Participating Division excluding BIG W Optical, DVD kiosks, BIG W Movie, BIG W Photo online and BIG W entertainment, as they do not qualify as an eligible purchase. In Queensland, Northern Territory, South Australia, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, Western Australia and Australian Capital Territory, “Smoking / Tobacco” product purchases are excluded from entry, by law.

 

    Entries for the prize draws close each Sunday (Saturday in the case of non-Sunday trading stores) during the Promotional Period, at 23:59 AEST.
    To enter the Promotion, a Cardholder must swipe their Card before paying for their purchases at a Participating store within a Participating division or enter the Everyday Rewards card number during the checkout process when purchasing from BIG W online, Dick Smith online or Woolworths online. 
    One entry will be recorded for each purchase transaction.
    A maximum of one entry per Card will be recorded for any transactions within a single calendar day, per division.
    For example, you can make one purchase each day at a Woolworths/Safeway Supermarket and BWS store (excluding Tasmania), BIG W store and Dick Smith store. The Everyday Rewards Cardholder will receive a maximum of four entries (one for each division), In Queensland, Northern Territory, South Australia, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, Western Australia and Australian Capital Territory, “Smoking / Tobacco” product purchases are excluded from entry, by law.
    Breaking a single transaction into multiple amounts for use with one or more Cards is not permitted, and will void all promotion entries attributable to such Cardholders.
    Prize winners will be determined by an automated random draw of all valid entries. Prize draws will take place at 12 noon AEST, at Salmat Interactive Pty Ltd, Level 1, 116 Miller Street, North Sydney, NSW, 2060 as per the table below. Relevant draw close times and dates, and draw dates are as follows:

    The first one hundred (100) valid entries randomly drawn from each weekly entries will be the winners each week.
    During the promotional period there will be a total of 100 (one hundred) prizes of a $200 WISH Gift Card each week. The prize for each winner is 1 (one) x $200 WISH Gift Card.

    All prize winners will be contacted by email within 2 days of the draw and will have their first initial, surname and state published on the Everyday Rewards Website within 2 days of the determination of the winners. Winners will receive notification in writing within 21 days of the draw.

    If a winning entry is invalid, that entry will be discarded and the prize will be awarded by randomly drawing another entry in accordance with these Terms & Conditions of Entry.

Entries into daily prize draws will not be entered in to subsequent daily prize draws.

    During the Promotional Period, twelve hundred (1200) winners will be drawn. The Total Prize pool value is $240,000.

    Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
    If a winner does not claim their prize within 3 months from the date of determination of that winner, their entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draws as are necessary subject to regulatory approval.

The unclaimed prize draw will take place on 26/10/2011at Salmat Interactive, Level 1, 116 Miller Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060 at 12:00noon AEST.

If in the case of an unclaimed prize draw, winners will be contacted in writing within 2 days of the draw and will have their first initial, surname and state published on the Everyday Rewards Website within 2 days of the determination of the winners.

    The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from winning of the prizes. Independent financial advice should be sought.
    The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify all entries from any Cardholder who is in breach of the Terms & Conditions of Entry or the Terms and Conditions of the Everyday Rewards Program or who manipulates, seeks to manipulate or benefits from manipulating, the entry process or the Promotion.
    The Promoter and its agencies and companies associated with this Promotion will not be liable for any loss (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), damage or personal injury which is suffered or sustained (including without limitation to that caused by any person's negligence) relating to the Promotion or the awarding or taking of the prizes except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case liability is limited to the minimum amount allowable by law).
    The Promoter may use any personal information that a Cardholder has provided to it as part of the Everyday Rewards Program for the purpose of running the Promotion, and also in advertisements, publications, media statements and other promotional material associated with the Promotion. For purposes of public statements and advertisements the Promoter will only publish the winner’s surname, initial and state. The Promoter may disclose the information for those purposes to its related bodies corporate and contractors. Unless the Cardholder has opted-out of communication within their Everyday Rewards account, the Promoter may use personal information a Cardholder has provided to send the Cardholder information about Woolworths' products and services (including via electronic means), and may disclose the information to its related bodies corporate, agencies and contractors (including call centers, advertising agencies and direct mail houses) the Promoter engages for that purpose.  If you require access to your personal information, please e-mail privacy@woolworths.com.au.  The Promoter is bound by the National Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act (Cth) 1988.  A copy of the Promoter's privacy policy can be viewed at the Website.  To update personal information the Promoter holds about them, entrants can contact the Promoter in writing at Everyday Rewards, PO Box 8000, Baulkham Hills NSW 2153.
    In the event there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
