Notoriously naming themselves after a Cure song, Funeral Party formed late one night during a parking lot drinking session in their hometown of Whittier, California, and quickly went on to acquire a cult following.  Rising out of the East LA party scene, Funeral Party has made their presence known worldwide, earning a spot on NME’s 50 Best New Bands of 2010, a spotlight feature in UK’s famed Q Magazine and added to BBC Radio Zane Lowe’s “Hottest Record in the World” playlist. The Los Angeles Times also proclaims that lead singer Chad Elliot “…[makes] a good case for being the best male vocalist in local rock right now.”
