Terms and Conditions

 1.This competition is a promotion run by RACQ Investments Pty Ltd ABN 80 009 693 896 and The Road Ahead Publishing Co Pty Ltd ABN 72 009 716 465 (“Promoters”).
 2.Entries and information on prizes and how to enter form part of these terms and conditions (“Terms”). Entries not completed in accordance with these Terms are ineligible.  Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
 3.The competition is open to residents of Queensland over the age of 18 years of age only.
 4.Employees and their immediate families of the Promoters and related entities of the Promoters are ineligible to enter.
 5.The competition commences at 5pm Friday, September 30, 2011 and closes 5pm Friday, November 25, 2011.
 6.The competition will be drawn at 10.00am on Tuesday November 29, 2011, at the RACQ Head Office, 2649 Logan Road, EIGHT MILE PLAINS.
 7.There will be three (3) prize winners in this competition that will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 11.The total prize value is $5,754. Any change in the value of the prize between the publishing date and the date that the prizes are claimed is not the responsibility of the Promoter.
 12.Spending money, additional meals, taxes, additional insurance, transport to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature and including but not limited to additional room charges such as pay per view movies, mini-bar, laundry, room service, telephone calls, any upgrades or additional nights and all other ancillary costs are not included and are the responsibility of the winner.
 13.If for any reason the prize winner does not take the prize or an element of the prize, then the prize or that element of the prize will not be redeemable for cash.
 14.If the prize or part of the prize is unavailable, the Promoters, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize or that part of the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.
 15.The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
 16.Travel, insurance, upgrades, extra person surcharges, spending money, incidental expenses and all other ancillary costs are the winner’s responsibility.
 17.The prize winner will be notified on the phone number or email address they use to enter the competition. Competition results will also be published on racq.com two weeks after the final draw. The prizes will be posted or couriered to the winner as appropriate within a month of the competition being drawn.
 18.If a competition winner is unable to be contacted within three (3) weeks of the draw a redraw will occur. In the event that a redraw is required it will be held at 9am on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at  the RACQ Head Office, 2649 Logan Road, EIGHT MILE PLAINS and the redraw winner will be notified by mail or by telephone.
 19.All entries become the property of the Promoter. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
 20.The information that entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the competition, and to periodically keep entrants informed about the goods and services provided by the Promoter, related entities and its service providers.  By entering this competition entrants consent to the use of their contact details for the purposes described in this clause.  The Promoter may use or disclose entrant’s personal information to related entities or other appropriate third parties in accordance with its  HYPERLINK “http://www.racq.com.au/about_us/privacy” privacy policy located at http://www.racq.com.au/about_us/privacy.
 21.If for any reason this competition is not capable of being conducted by the Promoter as intended, whether because of computer virus, mobile phone failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which in the Promoter’s opinion affects the administration of the competition, security, fairness or integrity, the Promoter may in its sole discretion, cancel, modify or suspend the competition, subject to the approval of the gaming authority in Queensland as may be required.
 22.The Promoters will not be liable for any loss or damage or for any personal injury sustained as a result of taking the prize or entering into this competition.  The Promoters makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability or any goods or services offered as prizes.  To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered to person or property by
 23.reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its employees or agents, in connection with the arrangement for the supply, or the supply, of goods and services by any person to the prize winner and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the prize winner.
