WIN ONE OF FIVE DOUBLE PASSES TO SEE VIDEO SET.
Exposing the grime beneath the glamour of the music video industry, Brisbane-based international creative Claire Marshall (Slowdive) unleashes an all-new work blurring
the lines between audience and performer, taking you on stage and in control of her Video Set.
Having choreographed film clips for the likes of Megan Washington, Powderfinger, The Sleepy Jackson, John Butler Trio, Skipping Girl Vinegar, Kate Miller-Heidke and Savage Garden, Claire blends fact with fiction to create an immersive theatrical experience, backed by a suitably rocking soundtrack.
Explore the Video Set action onstage, deciding where and how you view the performance, which will be captured via live camera feed and projected throughout the space. Featuring an extraordinary cast of Brisbane independent artists, Video Set zooms in on the manipulation of image and holds you in its thrall until the director calls 'cut'.
The premiere season of Video Set is on at the Judith Wright Centre from October 13–15.
map magazine and the Judith Wright Centre are giving away five double passes to the performance of Video Set on Friday October 14 at 7:30 pm. For your chance to win, click below:
