 REXONA WOOLWORTHS 2012 PROMOTION

HOW TO ENTER:

To be eligible to enter, consumers must purchase any two (2) Rexona products, in the one (1) transaction, from a participating Woolworths or Safeway store between 9.00am AEDST on 30/01/12 and 5.00pm AEDST on 26/02/12 (the “Promotional Period”) and enter in one of the following ways:
 
(a) By Internet: Log on to www.rexona.com.au/woolworths and fill in their personal details, submit their nominated school, along with their two (2) Rexona product barcode purchases and Woolworths/Safeway store receipt number during the Promotional Period.
 
OR

(b) By Mail: Complete entry form found in store and send in with a photocopy of the Woolworths or Safeway store receipt showing the two (2) Rexona products purchased during the Promotional Period to “Rexona Sportstar in your School Promotion” Locked Bag 7000, Neutral Bay NSW 2089.
 
All online entries must be received during the Promotional Period and mails entries must be received by last mail received on 27/02/12.
 
All entrants must retain originals of all store purchase receipts for all entries as proof of purchase. Promoter reserves the right to request proof of purchase for each entry made to verify all entries before awarding the prize. Failure to provide these to the Promoter upon request may, at the Promoter’s discretion; result in an invalid entry (and, at the Promoter's discretion, in all of the entrant's entries being deemed invalid). Entries are deemed accepted at the time of receipt and not at the time of posting. Consumers may enter as many times as they like provided each entry is associated with the purchase of any two (2) Rexona products in the one transaction from a participating Woolworths/Safeway store during the Promotional Period.
 
Terms and Conditions
1.Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2.Entry is only open to Australian residents. Employees of the Promoter, participating Woolworths/Safeway stores, the Promoter’s associated companies, the Promoter’s agencies associated with this promotion and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. Entrants under the age of 18 years must obtain the consent of their parent or legal guardian to enter.
3.Incomplete, illegible or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
4.Promotion commences at 9.00am AEDST 30/01/12 and closes at 5.00pm 26/02/12 (the “Promotional Period”). All online entries must be received during the Promotional Period and mail entries must be received by last mail received by on 27/02/12.
5.The draw will be held at 5:00pm AEDST on the 28/02/12 at 30thirty, Level 2, 50 Yeo Street, Neutral Bay NSW 2089. The winners will be will be notified in writing by mail and by phone within 2 days of the draw and will be published in The Australian on 02/03/12. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter reserves the right to draw reserves in the event the original entries or entrants selected are deemed invalid before the conduct of the relevant unclaimed prize draw, and use the reserves as replacement prize winners.
6.There will be three (3) major prizes and forty (40) secondary prizes that are available to be won. The first three (3) valid entries drawn will win each win the major prize for their nominated school. The next forty (40) valid entries drawn will each win the secondary prize.
7.Each major prize is a ‘Superstar Training Session’ with one of three (3) sport stars for up to thirty (30) students at the school nominated by the entrant at time of entry on their entry form, and is valued at up to $28,000. Each major prize consists of an exclusive VIP Training Session with either: Ricky Ponting, Billy Slater or Luke Hodge (as determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion) at the nominated school, opportunity to meet and greet the sports star, take photos of the sports star and receive signed merchandise given away on the day. The Superstar Training Session must be taken by 01/09/2012 and is subject to agreement between the Promoter and the nominated school to permit the Superstar Training Session to take place at the nominated school. The exact date for the Super Star Training Session will be subject to the availability of the applicable sports star that will attend the nominated school. The Promoter accepts no responsibility if the nominated school does not agree to take the Super Star Training Session.
8.The “meet & greet” provides the school children at the nominated school with an opportunity to meet the sports star, and have a photograph taken with the sports star on the day of the Superstar Training Session. These elements of the prize are not guaranteed and are subject to the goodwill of the sports star on the day. The Promoter accepts no responsibility and will not offer any alternative in the event that these elements of the prize cannot be offered for any reason.
9.Each secondary prize is an LG (Model 32LK330) 32 inch (81cm) HD LCD TV valued at RRP $599.00 exc GST.
10.Total prize pool is valued at up to $107,960.00.
11.The Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draw as are necessary on 28/05/12 at 5.00pm in order to distribute any prizes unclaimed by that date subject however to any written directions given by a regulatory authority. In the event of any winner in the unclaimed prize draw, they will be contacted in writing within 2 days of the unclaimed prize draw and their name will be published in The Australian newspaper on 01/06/12.
12. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries, at any time during or after the promotion, and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant (and ALL entries submitted by that entrant) for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Failure of the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
13.If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority.
14.Entrants are limited to one (1) entry per two (2) Rexona products purchased in the one (1) transaction during the Promotional Period. Proof of purchase for every entry submitted, in the form of a photocopy of an original store purchase receipt(s), must be provided on the Promoter’s request in order to claim the prize. Where a copy of the receipt is not provided on request, or the receipt/s records a purchase outside of the Promotional Period, the entry will be deemed invalid and the prize will be re-drawn in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
15.The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted from that source and by those entrants invalid.
16.The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from acceptance of the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
17.Any costs associated with accessing the promotional website are the entrant’s responsibility and are dependent on the internet service provider used. Any contact details entered incorrectly shall invalidate the entry. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incomplete or incomprehensible entries. All such inaccurate entries will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries. Any entry that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions will be invalid.
18.Any prize, or any unused portion of a prize or a prize which is not used within the specified period, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless specified otherwise.
19.The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value.
20.Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory implied guarantees/warranties as provided under the Trade Practices Act, ASIC Act, or the Competition and Consumer Act including the guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law or similar laws in the State and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with taking the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees.
21.It is a condition of entry that the winner, the nominated schools, and the parents or guardians of the school children attending the major prize, may be required to execute a Deed of Acknowledgement, Release and Indemnity in a form prescribed by the Promoter in its discretion.
22.In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to any written directions from a relevant Regulatory Authority.
23.The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the telephone or internet user or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this promotion, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this promotion including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or website, software failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries and any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any materials in the promotion. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and, subject to any written directions given by a relevant Regulatory Authority, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
24.All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering this promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter may use this information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages. Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at its address set out below. 25.Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
26.The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of age, identity and residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
