Other than just being really fun to say – go on, try it… say it out loud! I’ll say it with you… ready? HOODIE HOO!!! Now, wasn’t that fun?!

Anyway, other than just being really fun to say, there is an actual meaning to “Hoodie Hoo”.. kinda

Every February on the 20th, people go out at noon, wave their hands over their heads and chant “Hoodie-Hoo”. (Now, I’ve never actually seen these “people” but that’s what I’m told anyway) It is a day to chase away winter and bring in spring! After all, everyone in the northern hemisphere are sick and tired of winter at this point and a little crazy being cooped up inside all winter and not seeing the sun. Makes sense to me!
