Toshiba has graciously donated one of it’s latest Ultrabook computers, a 14 inch model sporting an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, Intel HD graphics, WiFi, Bluetooth, HDMI, and a hybrid 320GB hard drive with 16GB solid state storage on-board to speed things up.

The U840 even includes one of those new high-speed USB 3.0 ports we recently wrote about, affording you incredibly fast transfer speeds if you want one of the new blue USB 3.0 thumb or hard drives.

This is Toshiba’s second Ultrabook, and after the positive experience we had reviewing the first model – the Z830 – we’re expecting great things here too.

Toshiba’s silver U840 comes with a value of $1499 and we’ve got one to give away by May.

That doesn’t seem too hard, and it can be anything. Maybe you’d like a chocolate dispenser. We highly doubt that will happen, pending some deal between Toshiba and Cadbury, but hey, you can hope.

Entry is open to all permanent residents of Australia, but to be eligible to win the prize the email address you submit with your entry must be actively subscribed to the GadgetGuy or Press Play newsletter at the time of the prize judging. 4.
