HOW TO ENTER THE MAJOR PRIZE DRAW – NON-MEMBERS
I. To receive an entry into the major prize draw, individuals who are not existing
Guardian Club members as at the start of the promotional period (“Non-
Members”) must become a member of Guardian Club by any one (1) of the
following methods:
a) In pharmacy: by fully completing the official Guardian Club Membership
application form available at a participating Guardian pharmacy and
handing it over to a pharmacy staff member or by requesting a pharmacy
assistant to register them using their online portal in any participating
Guardian pharmacy between 17/05/2012 and close of business on
15/06/2012;
OR
b) Online: by visiting www.guardianclub.com.au and following the prompts to
fully complete the online Guardian Club membership application form
between 17/05/2012 and 11.59pm AEST on 15/06/2012.
HOW TO ENTER THE MINOR PRIZE DRAW – NON-MEMBERS/NEW
MEMBERS
II. Individuals who join Guardian Club during the promotional period (“new
members”) will receive an entry into the minor prize draw if they provide a
valid email address for their Guardian Club membership during the
promotional period via either one (1) of the following methods:
a) At the time of becoming a Guardian Club member, on their Guardian Club
membership application form (via the methods outlined in clause I above);
or
b) At any time during the promotional period, after becoming a Guardian
Club member in accordance with clause I, by either visiting a participating
Guardian pharmacy and requesting a pharmacy assistant to include their
valid email address for them (and providing all of the requested details) or
by visiting www.guardianclub.com.au and following the prompts to login to
their homepage and update their details to include their valid email
address.The email address provided must remain on the new member’s
account for the entire duration of the promotion in order for the new
member to be eligible to receive an entry into the minor prize draw. New
members can only update their details once during the promotional period
for a maximum of one (1) entry into the minor prize draw.

III. New members and individuals who are existing Guardian Club members as at
the start of the promotional period (“existing members”) will receive an entry
into the major prize draw when they spend $35 or more (including GST) in a
single transaction at any participating Guardian pharmacy and have their
Guardian Club card swiped by a pharmacy assistant at the time of
transaction, between 17/05/2012 and close of business on 15/06/2012.
Excludes prescription purchases.
HOW TO ENTER THE MINOR PRIZE DRAW – EXISTING MEMBERS
IV. Existing members will be eligible to receive an entry into the minor prize draw
if they update their email address during the promotional period, provided that
they also complete the step outlined in clause III above and make an eligible
spend during the promotional period. To update their email address, existing
members must visit www.guardianclub.com.au and follow the prompts to login
to their homepage and update their details to include their email address,
between 17/05/2012 and 11.59pm AEST on 15/06/2012. Existing members
whose details already include an email address will be able to receive an
entry by providing an alternative valid email address. The new/alternative
email address details provided must remain on the existing member’s account
for the entire duration of the promotion in order for the existing member to be
eligible to receive an entry into the minor prize draw. Existing members can
only update their details once during the promotional period for a maximum of
one (1) entry into the minor prize draw.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and
Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these
Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over, who are
existing Guardian Club members or who become Guardian Club members
during the promotional period.
3. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating
Guardian pharmacies and agencies associated with this promotion are
ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, exspouse,
de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption),
parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece,
nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
4. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries
and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and
to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with
these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors
and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the

Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver
of those rights.
5. Incomplete, indecipherableor illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
6. Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) individuals can only
register for a Guardian Club membership once; (b) only one entry into the
major prize draw permitted per $35 or more (including GST) spent in a single
transaction (excluding prescription purchases); (c) Existing members and new
members can only update their details to either include their email address or
provide an alternative email address (as applicable) once during the
promotional period and receive one (1) entry into the minor prize draw in
respect of that update; and (d) each entry must be submitted separately and
in accordance with entry requirements.
7. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the
right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
8. Promotion commences on 17/05/2012. Entries close at close of business on
16/06/2012 for pharmacy based entries and at 11.59pm AEST on 15/06/2012
for online based entries. The major prize draw and the minor prize draw will
take place at Pinpoint Pty Ltd, Level 3, 34 James Craig Road, Rozelle NSW
2039 on 25/06/2012 at 11.00am AEST.
9. The winners will be notified by mail and the name of the major prize winner
will be published in The Australian on 19/07/2012.
10. The first valid entry drawn in the major prize draw will win a trip for four (4), 2
adults and 2 children (aged 12 years and under) to Queenstown, New
Zealand valued at up to AU$7,372 depending on date and point of departure.
Prize includes:
• Return economy flights for 2 adults and 2 children from the winner’s
nearest capital city to Queenstown, New Zealand;
• five (5) nights at a minimum 4star hotel. The exact hotel will be
selected by the Promoter in its absolute discretion;
• return transfers from the airport to the hotel in Queenstown, New
Zealand;
• Comprehensive travel insurance for each person, up to the maximum
value of AU$400 overall; and
• In-season family pass to Snow White & The Huntsman. The family
pass is redeemable by 2 adults (both individuals to be 15 years of age
or over) and 2 children (aged 12 years or under).
Spending money, meals, taxes (excluding airline and airport taxes), additional
insurance, passports, visas,additional transfers, items of a personal nature, inroom
charges and all other ancillary costs are not included. Prize must be
taken by 05/07/2013 and is subject to booking and flight availability.

The major prize package is subject to availability and peak season block out
periods may apply. The major prize winner and his/her companions are
responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, and any requisite
visas and travel documentation. The major prize winner and his/her
companions must depart from and return to the same departure point and
travel together. Itinerary to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute
discretion. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the major prize. The
major prize winner may be required to present their credit card at time of
accommodation check in.
11. The first one hundred (100) valid entries drawn in the minor prize draw will
each win an in-season family pass to Snow White & The Huntsman valued at
$72.
The in-season family pass to Snow White & The Huntsman is redeemable by
2 adults and 2 children (aged 12 years or under).The family pass will be valid
from the movie-opening day, for the entire theatrical season at participating
cinemas. The following major cinemas accept the in-season family pass;
Hoyts & AMC Cinemas, Event, Greater Union and Birch Carroll & Coyle
Cinemas, Reading Cinemas, Village Cinemas, Wallis Cinemas, Grand
Cinemas, and participating independent cinemas. Not valid at: Cinema Nova,
State Cinema Hobart, United Cinemas, Roseville Cinema and Hayden
Orpheum Cremorne. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the family
passes are not included. Any unused balance of the family passes will not be
awarded as cash. Redemption of the family passes is subject to any terms
and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the family passes.
12. All prizes are subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize
and service providers.
13. If for any reason a winner does not take a prize (or an element of a prize) by
the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the
prize) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.
14. Subject to the terms and conditions of the participating prize provider(s), if for
any reason the winner does not, once a prize has been booked, take the prize
(or an element of the prize) at the time stipulated, then the prize (or that
element of the prize) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.
15. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter
reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or
suspend or modify a prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant
regulatory authority.
16. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
17. Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does
not take a prize (or element of a prize) by the time stipulated by the Promoter,
then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited.

18. If a prize (or part of a prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion,
reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize
to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a
regulatory authority.
19. Total prize pool value is up to AU$14,572.
20. Prizes (or any unused portion of a prize) are not transferable or exchangeable
and cannot be taken as cash.
21. A separate draw for any unclaimed major or minor prizes (from the relevant
entries for each draw) may take place on 05/10/2012 at the same time and
place as the original draws, subject to any directions from a regulatory
authority. The winners, if any, will be notified by mail and the name of the
major prize winner (if the major prize is awarded) will be published in The
Australian newspaper on 19/10/2012.
22. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image
and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or
recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without
remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any
outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or
supplied by the Promoter.
23. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being
conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the
reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical
difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right,
in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any
entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to
modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
24. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s
responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
25. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or
electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is
prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
26. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or
purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as
provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other
implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in
the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except
for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable
Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and
agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or
any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect,
special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.

27. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-
Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers,
employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability
(including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage
(including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or
consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or
equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any
theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize
claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after
their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable
control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these
Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or
(f)taking of the prize.
28. As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner (and his/her companion)
must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the
Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not
limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
29. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion
and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including
but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize supplier and, as
required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing
this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise
advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research
and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning
the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to opt out, access, update or
correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the
Promoter.
