Terms and Conditions
Information on how to enter and the prize forms part of the terms and conditions of entry. Participation in the Competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions and any other notices referenced herein.
The promoter is ADVERTISING DEVELOPMENT SERVICES (ABN 86 138 011 980) of 471 Williamstown Road, Port Melbourne, Victoria 3207 (“The Promoter”).
Entry in the Promotion is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over excluding:
management, employees, directors and contractors of the Promoter, its related entities, Bob Jane T-Marts, the Participating Outlets and other agencies, firms or companies associated with the Promotion (including suppliers of prizes);
a spouse, de-facto spouse, parent, guardian, child or sibling of a person referred to in paragraph 3(a) of these Terms;
(Eligible Entrants): The persons referred to in paragraph 3(b) of these Terms includes natural and non-natural relations (in the opinion of the Promoter) and the Promoter is responsible for determining whether a person is an Eligible Entrant in its absolute discretion.
The Competition commences on Tuesday 01st May 2012 at 00:00:01 (AEST) and concludes on Thursday, 31st May 2012 at 23:59:59 (AEST) (“Competition Period”). No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
To enter the Competition and to be eligible to win the prize Entrants must, during the Competition Period:
Purchase any set (4) of Rodney Jane Racing Circuit Wheels in the one transaction (Eligible Products) from a Participating Outlet, and
Complete their entry in accordance with these Terms (Eligible Entry). Entry is to be completed on the entry form found on the homepage of the Bob Jane T-Marts website (www.bobjane.com.au) or on the direct competition URL (www.bobjane.com.au/V8Darwin).
Entrants may only submit one Competition Entry during the Competition Period for each set of Eligible Products Purchased.
Entries will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt of the Competition Entry and not at the time of transmission. Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. If an Entrant's contact details change during the Competition Period, the Entrant must promptly notify the Promoter of the relevant change. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be in writing and directed to Promoter.
There is one prize to be awarded in the Competition. The entrant selected first with complete and valid entry details will be the prize winner. The selection will take place at the offices of Advertising Development Services of 471 Williamstown Road, Port Melbourne, Victoria 3207 on Friday 01st June 2012 at 10:00am (AEST).
 The selected winner will be awarded the prize which comprises:
Return Economy Class airfares to Darwin for two people departing from the nearest of the following capital cities to the prize winner’s place of residence:
Canberra,
Sydney,
Melbourne,
Brisbane,
Adelaide,
Hobart
or
Perth
(“Flight Departure Cities”).
The airfares included in the prize are subject to the Flight Terms & Conditions set out at the end of these terms and conditions, and any other terms or conditions imposed by the airline.
2 nights’ accommodation (Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th June 2012) for two (King or Twin Share) in a King Premier Room at Central Darwin Hotel, 21 Knuckey Street, Darwin, Northern Territory 0800,or, if not available, 2 nights’ accommodation in a hotel in Darwin of similar standard selected by the Promoter; The accommodation included in the prize are subject to the Accommodation Terms & Conditions set out at the end of these terms and conditions; and
2 x Adult Corporate Tickets to the Terrace Hairpin Club Supersite at the 2012 Skycity Triple Crown V8 Supercar event held in Darwin on the 16th & 17th June 2012. The tickets included in the prize are subject to the Terms & Conditions set out at the end of these terms and conditions.
If a winning entry is deemed by the Promoter not to comply with the conditions of entry, the entry will be discarded and a new winner of the prize will be determined from those entries eligible to receive the prize.
The prize winner will be notified by phone and email (to the email address provided) within 24 hours of the draw advising them of their prize. Notice of the prize winner will also be published on our website www.bobjane.com.au as well as in the relevant Major Metropolitan Newspaper of the Prize Winner’s State:

The prize winner must claim the prize within 48 hours of notification by the Promoter.
If the prize winner fails to claim the prize in writing within 48 hours of notification by the Promoter, the prize will be deemed unclaimed.  In that event, the Promoter shall conduct a re-draw at the offices of Advertising Development Services of 471 Williamstown Road, Port Melbourne, Victoria 3207 on Tuesday 5th June 2012 at 10:00am (AEST).   The re-drawn winner will be notified by phone and email (to the email address provided) within 24 hours of the re-draw advising them of their prize. Notice of the re-drawn prize winner will also be published on our website www.bobjane.com.au.
The final winner and his/her travelling companion must depart on the same date from the same airport on the same flight. The winner and his/her travelling companion must depart Darwin to return to their original departure airport on the same date from the same airport on the same flight. Subject to paragraph 12 below, the winner and his/her travelling companion are responsible for transport to and from their nearest Flight Departure City.
If the winner resides outside of a major Capital City, the winner and his/her travelling companion will be responsible for obtaining appropriate transport to the winner’s nearest Flight Departure City. For the avoidance of doubt, such transport to the nearest Flight Departure City does not form part of the prize and the prize winner must pay all costs in connection with the connecting transport.
The total prize value is up to AU$4,000 (including GST). Prize value is recommended retail price and is subject to change. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value.
The total prize must be booked and ticketed, by 23:59:59 (AEST) on Wednesday 06th June 2012.The prize is subject to hotel and flight availability and cannot be changed once the booking has been made.
If for any reason whatsoever the winner is unable to take any element of the prize in the time period specified by the Promoter, then that element of the prize in its entirety will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
The prize, in whole or in any part, is not transferable to another individual and is not exchangeable or redeemable for cash, goods or services. The prize is not refundable and cannot be upgraded. The prize winner cannot change, vary, substitute or extend any element of the prize (in whole or in part) and the prize winner must be among the travellers.
The Promoter and their associated agencies, and other contractors associated with this Competition, accept no responsibility for prizes, prize information or for tickets lost in transit.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
The prize winner and his/her travel companion are responsible for all other expenses including, without limitation, spending money, meals, transfers (including from the airport of the arrival city to the hotel), activities (unless specified), incidentals, taxes, surcharges, gratuities, services charges and all other ancillary costs.
Accommodation selection, location and room type and air carrier selection and flight routing is at the sole discretion of the Promoter.
The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any point of the trip.
To the extent permitted by law and any direction of the relevant gaming authority, if the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value.
The decision of the Promoter in relation to the conduct of the Competition and the prize winner is binding and final and the Promoter will not enter into any correspondence regarding the Competition result.
The Promoter reserves the right to require the prize winner to provide proof of identification and/or proof of residency or address details in order to claim the prize. Proof of identification, residency and address considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. If the prize winner cannot provide suitable proof, the prize winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute or cash will be awarded in lieu of the prize.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry which, in the opinion of the Promoter, contains objectionable content, profanity, potentially insulting, or defamatory statements or if the entry does not comply with these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter also reserves the right to, in its sole discretion, disqualify any Entrant whom the Promoter believes has tampered with the entry process or has engaged in conduct in relation to the Competition that the Promoter believes to be fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promoter.
The prize winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier's requirements. The prize winner and his/her travelling companion may also be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
To the  extent permitted by law, no responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter, their related bodies corporate, employees, associated agencies or suppliers to the Promoter  (together the "Parties") for any late, lost or misdirected entries or for any claim arising from the conduct of the Competition. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for outdated or incorrect contact details or contact details by which the Entrant cannot be contacted during business hours on the relevant dates.
To the extent permitted by law, the Parties will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, misadventure, accident, personal injury, death, damage or claim which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with:
Any travel connected with the Competition or any prize won;
Any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the Parties, or any person associated with  any of them; or
Any circumstances outside the Parties’ reasonable control.
To the extent permitted by law, if for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes beyond the control of the Promoter, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or technical failures, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to take any action that may be available to it, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to any government regulation.
In the case of the intervention of any outside person or event which changes the result or prevents or hinders the determination of the Competition, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, acts of terrorism, natural disasters, civil unrest, strikes or any other event beyond the control of the Promoter; the Promoter may in its discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to any government regulation.
All entries become the property of the Promoter. To facilitate participation in the Competition, the Promoter may disclose an Entrant’s personal information to other companies associated with this promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the individual may not enter this promotion. By entering the Competition, unless otherwise advised, each Entrant acknowledges and agrees that the Promoter collecting the Entrant's personal information and enter same in a database, and the Entrant consents to the Promoter using such information for future promotional and marketing activities including,  without limitation, sending the Entrant electronic messages, and for any media and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without  any further reference, payment or other compensation to the Entrant.
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable media editorial requests relating to the prize, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, filmed and/or chaperoned throughout the duration of the prize.
In consideration for the Promoter awarding the prize to the prize winner, the prize winner hereby assigns to the Promoter all right, title and interest in and to all copyright in any material created in connection with the prize winner’s participation in any aspect of the prize ("Works"). The prize winner acknowledges that the Promoter is free to use the Works and to exercise its rights in relation thereto and the prize winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
Entrants' personal information may also be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments or to another government authority, as required by law. A request to access, update or correct any personal information should be directed to the Promoter.

Flight Terms and Conditions
Subject to the Competition Terms & Conditions, airfares forming part of the prize won may be used for travel to and from the event in Darwin with economy fares valid for travel from the prize winners nearest Capital City to Darwin on Saturday 15th June 2012, and flights from Darwin on Monday 17th June 2012 returning to the same city.
The prize winner can depart from any of  the following cities:
Canberra,
Sydney,
Melbourne,
Brisbane,
Adelaide,
Hobart
or
Perth
Airfares are only valid for the dates of travel to and from the event in Darwin and all tickets are to be used together, on the same travel date, on the same flight.
The prize winner’s and his/her travelling companion’s tickets are not transferable, not cash-redeemable, non-upgradeable and their validity cannot be extended. (The winner of the ticket(s) must be among the travellers.
Any taxes and/or surcharges, and additional costs are not included in the prize and are at the Prize Winner’s own expense and responsibility.
Frequent flyer points will not be awarded on these airfares.
These Flight Terms & Conditions are subject to change by the Airline without notice.
Accommodation Terms and Conditions
The accommodation component of the Prize includes:
2 nights’ accommodation (Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th June 2012) at the Darwin Central Hotel
The room type for the Prize Winner and his/her travel companion is a King Premier Room (available in King or Twin bedding)
Breakfast at the Darwin Central Hotel on Sunday 17th and Monday 18th June 2012 for the Prize Winner and his/her travelling companion.
No exchange of accommodation: The accommodation package formed as part of the prize cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. If for any reason, a Prize Winner cannot take the accommodation component of the Prize, then the accommodation will be forfeited.
Costs: All transport, all meals (excluding breakfast at the hotel and meals at the track), all beverages (excluding breakfast at the hotel and beverages at the track), spending money, insurances, service charges, taxes, and ancillary/incidental costs, including cost of travel to and from the property are not included in the Prize unless specified and are the full responsibility of the Prize Winner.
Taxes: If a Prize or receipt of it incurs a tax liability, the Prize Winner is liable for payment of such tax.
Prize Availability: All components of the Prize, including accommodation are subject to availability, based on a limited allocation of rooms and may not be available during school holidays, holiday weekends or special events. In the event that any component of a Prize is unavailable for any reason, subject to State legislation, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute that Prize component with another prize of equal value and the Prize Winner will be notified accordingly.
Date prize to be taken: Prize is valid for travel on the 15th & 17th June 2012, accommodation on the nights of 15th & 16th June 2012 and corporate hospitality at the track on 15th & 16th June 2012.
Corporate Hospitality Terms and Conditions
The prize winner and his/her travelling companion will each receive a 2 day pass to the SKYCITY Triple Crown V8 Supercar event in Darwin. The tickets are for entry into the Terrace Hairpin Club. These tickets provide access on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th June 2012.
These passes include:
Access to the Upper Level of the Terrace Hairpin Club
General admission and V8 Supercars Paddock access plus RACE & ROCK concerts
Superscreen viewing and televisions
Reserved Seating
Race programmes
Tea, coffee, water & soft drinks available from 09:00am when the marquee opens
Beverages served from 10:30am – 4:30pm
Buffet luncheon (served at 12:30pm), morning tea and afternoon tea
The Prize winner and his/her travelling companion must ensure that their tickets are kept on them at all times throughout Saturday and Sunday. No Passes, No Entry – No Exceptions.
Friday General Admission passes are not included in this prize.
Ancillary Costs: Any costs outside of the inclusions listed in the above Paragraph 2 (a-h) are not included in the prize and are the full responsibility of the Prize Winner.
The Prize Winner’s tickets are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. The winner of the tickets must be among the attendees at the event.
