TERMS & CONDITIONS

HOW TO ENTER
To enter, fans must take a photo of themselves showing a hairstyle they have created using TRESemmé and then upload this photo to the TRESemmé Facebook competition app with the fan's name for the hair style, along with their name and email address.

Competition opens 24/09/12 at 9am & ends 28/10/12 at 5pm AEDT.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Information on how to enter and participation forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Entry is only open to consumers in Australia and must be 18 years or over to participate

The Tresemme NYFW Big Week of Beauty promotion is from 24/09/12 at 9am & ends 28/10/12 at 5pm AEDT

To be eligible to win a Major Prize, entrants must provide a photo of a hairstyle they created using a Tresemme product and a name for their hairstyle along with their name and email address.

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries, at any time during or after the promotion, and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process.

The most creative entry will be selected as the Major Prize winner as judged from all entries received by the TRESemmé and Pacific Magazines judging panel on 01/11/12. The winner will be contacted by email by a TRESemmé representative that same day. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the finalists.

The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The Major Prize needs to be taken between February 6th 2013] and February 15th 2013 and includes; (a) return economy airfares for 2 adults between winner’s closest state capital city and New York, USA (b) 4 nights accommodation in a 4 star Hotel in a twin share room, (c) tickets to 1 of the Tresemme sponsored New York Fashion Week events (event to be confirmed in January) (d) $1000 AUD spending money. The Major Prize is valued at over $7,000 (depending on Major Prize winner’s point of departure). Additional spending money, meals, insurance, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included and are the sole cost and responsibility of the Major Prize winner.

The Promoter reserves the right to substitute or vary the prize to the same value should the original prize not be available at the time of the event.

The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash unless specified otherwise.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries received after the closing time and date and not completed in accordance with these terms and conditions.

The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incomplete, illegible, damaged or incomprehensible entries. All such entries will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries. Any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions will be invalid.
Images of the winner & video blog content recorded while in New York may be used in various PR and advertising communications. Therefore winners will agree that the promoters, Tresemme and Pacific Magazines, have unlimited usage rights with regard to these images and the winner’s name, likeness, image and/or voice for that purpose. Full details of usage rights will be outlined in a contract that the winners will be asked to sign prior to any photography shoot taking place.

The Promoter and its related bodies corporate shall not be liable for any problems or technical failures including malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment or software. This includes the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion on the internet or at any website.

Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or death, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion and the prize, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; (f) the acceptance or use of a prize; (g) any act or omission of the Promoter or its associated agencies.

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to reject or disqualify any entrant for: (a) tampering with the entry process; or (b) for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry; or (c) if the entrant is engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct which, in the Promoter’s opinion, may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion (e.g. aggressive or disturbing behaviour or appearance); or (d) if, in the Promoter’s opinion, the entrant is intoxicated. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.

All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering this promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter may use this information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at its address set out below. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of age, identity and residency address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
