There’s something about seeing that little AU tacked on the end of an international fashion label’s URL that makes you momentarily cast off the psychological shackles of our god awful southern isolation and think, “Hey, yeah, we’re really part of something much bigger aren’t we.”

Dr Denim, those saavy Scandinavian jeans outfitters, have taken anew to the world-wide-web. And, in doing so, they've extended a digital hand to us in Oz. A stylishly made piece of internet, their new site also features an 83-page digital book entitled ‘Our Story’ – which, apart from telling the story of Dr Denim's inception and production, discusses such wonderful procrastinatory topics as universal eel migration and states of water aggregation.

Most importantly, though, the site is a place to buy Dr Denim products! Well cut, well stitched, well done I say. For those who have never owned a pair of Dr Denims before, they have a rather handy illustrated sizing chart and heaps of pictures to help you find the right pair.
