THE spirits, traditions and meaning of Christmas will be on show when Charles Dickens Performs A Christmas Carol hits the stage at the Athenaeum Theatre from December 5-9.
Charles Dickens Performs A Christmas Carol re-creates the famous readings Dickens himself gave in the latter part of his life.
The characters of Ebenezer Scrooge, Jacob Marley and the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future have been created using Charles Dickens’ original prompt copy, which includes directions in the author's own hand writing.
