If you are in Sydney and like free gigs, then you’re in luck, my friend. This Thursday (29 Nov), the mega brill Winter People are playing a pop up show in the CBD. Get along to the Logitech UE Sound Studio pop up store in the Westfield Pitt St Mall (located between Zara and Nespresso) for a 40 minute set by indie ones-to-watch. It starts at 6.30pm and the sprawling six-piece, boasting no fewer than two violin players and five vocalists, will play songs from their debut album, A Year at Sea.

The gig is part of a series of free shows to support the recent launch of Logitech’s UE range of new audio products and their ongoing support of local up and coming Australian artists. It’s about bringing great, free, live music to Sydney and Melbourne. No tickets, no booking fees, no queues, just a great opportunity to catch some live acts. To celebrate the fact that one of our new favourite acts is playing live and gratis (and early enough for us to be tucked up in bed by 9pm), we’re giving away a set of wireless, noise-cancelling 9000 headphones (pictured, right).
