WIN a trip to The Ashes" Terms and Conditions
1.The Promoter is Wotif.com Pty Ltd ABN 81 092 257 504, 7 Baroona Road, Milton Qld 4064 (Promoter). The permit numbers for this promotion are; SA permit number T12/2551 issued on 14/12/2012, ACT permit number TP 12/04953 issued on 11/12/2012, NSW permit number LTPS/12/10912 issued on 07/12/2012, and VIC permit number 12/3316 issued on 18/12/2012.
2.Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
3.Entry to the competition is free (excluding internet charges) and is only open to entrants who are 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of Promoter and their related entities are ineligible to enter.
4.The promotion is open to residents of Australia only.
5.The promotion commences at 9.00am AEST Friday 21 December 2012 and closes at 12.00am AEST Thursday 31 January 2013.
6.There is no limit to the amount of entries per entrant.
7.To enter the prize draw, participants must; download either the 1.1 version of the Wotif.com app for the iPhone or iPad, or download the Wotif.com app for Android from Google Play, launch the app, tap the competition button located at the bottom of the screen, and enter their details: name, email address, home state or territory and phone number and sign up to the Wotif.com newsletter.
8.Participants will also be given the opportunity to forward the promotion via email to their own contacts with their friend’s permission. Each forward to a friend completed via the promotion website will provide the entrant with one extra entry into prize draw.
9.All valid entries will go into a random draw which will take place at 9.00am AEST Monday 4 February 2013 at 7 Baroona Road, Milton Qld 4064. The first valid entry drawn will win: a.Return economy flights for two (2) people to the United Kingdom from either Perth, Darwin, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra or Hobart, valued up to AU$4,000 (includes all applicable taxes). Flights must be booked by Thursday 14 February 2013. Residents outside of Perth, Darwin, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra or Hobart are required to arrange transportation to a listed participating airport at their own expense.
b.One (1) x voucher for AST Australian Sports Tours (website www.astsports.com.au) up to the value of $4280, which can be redeemed for any applicable AST sports package, and includes as part of the event package: adult tickets to the particular event and any associated function that may form part of the event package; and accommodation as determined by AST for the event. The voucher may be used for two (2) people to attend an eligible sporting event such as 2013 Investec Ashes Test 3 at Old Trafford, Manchester, UK.

10.The winner of the main draw on Monday 4 February 2013 must book the Prize before Thursday 14 February 2013 by contacting the Wotif.com marketing team via marketing@wotif.com, and must commence travel prior to Thursday 1 August 2013.
11.An unclaimed prize draw will take place at 9:00am AEST Monday 6 May 2013 at 7 Baroona Road, Milton Qld 4064, should the winner of the main draw be uncontactable.
12.The winner of the unclaimed prize draw must book the Prize before Friday 31 May 2013 by contacting the Wotif.com marketing team via marketing@wotif.com, and must commence travel prior to Thursday 1 August 2013.
13.The Prize is valid until Tuesday 31 October 2013 from the date of issue and bookings made with the Prize are subject to availability at the time of booking.
14.The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable and non-redeemable for cash.
15.The maximum total value of the prize pool is valued up to AU$8,280.
16.The winner will be notified by email and phone within two (2) days of the draw. The winner’s details will also be published at www.wotif.com for a period of three (3) months. The winner’s details will also be published in The Australian on Friday 8 February 2013.
17.In the case of an unclaimed prize draw, the winner’s details will be published in The Australian on Wednesday 8 May 2013.
18.Visas, passports and all entry, exit, health or other documents required by law, regulations, orders, demands or requirements of the countries visited or transited are the responsibility of the winner. The prize winner must possess a valid passport and be eligible to travel to the United Kingdom both at the time of booking and also at the time of travel.
19.The prize does not (except as expressly stated) include; transfers, other transport or accommodation; meals or beverages; telephone charges; incidental hotel charges (such as mini-bar, telephone calls, in-house movies, food or beverages); spending money; insurance such as travel or health cover; vaccinations or other medical or health related services; any other ancillary costs which may be incurred by the winner or their guest in relation to the prize trip.
20.The Promoter expressly reserves the right to resolve any discrepancies, disputes or otherwise unforeseen circumstances as it deems fit and the Promoter’s decision will be final and binding upon every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter expressly reserves the right to change or alter these Terms and Conditions at any time.
21.The Promoter accepts no responsibility for incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, misdirected or illegible submissions.
22.The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered by any entrant or winner (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
23.The Promoter shall not be responsible for any entries that are not received or are otherwise interfered with due to problems with the internet or telecommunications services.
24.If this promotion is not capable of running as planned due to any reason, including unauthorized intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) in its sole discretion to cancel the competition or to disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process.
25.In order for you to participate in this promotion the Promoter will collect your name, email address, home state or territory and phone number. The purpose for collecting this personal information is to enable the Promoter to administer the promotion. By entering this promotion you agree to receive Wotif.com’s email newsletters and you agree that the Promoter may use the aggregate information collected from the competition for related research and marketing purposes. Winners in this competition agree that their identity may be disclosed in winner announcements and promotional material.
