Willandra Houseboat Escape

Willandra Houseboats is giving one RACV member the ultimate two-night weekend away for six guests aboard the Classic super luxury spa houseboat, including a bottle of bubbly and share plate on arrival, valued at $2300.
Feel at home in the master bedroom with en suite, television and large windows to maximise the superb river views.  Or sit back and relax in the 6-8 person rooftop spa complete with flat screen TV, top deck steering option and sunbeds to watch the world go by. 
Amenities include a chef’s kitchen and a barbecue on the rear deck to cook up the day’s catch.  Fishing gear and a two-person canoe are provided.

To enter, go to www.willandrahouseboats.com.au and use the Our Fleet section to name three Willandra Houseboats.  Send these, along with your name, RACV membership number, address and daytime phone number, to Murray River Houseboat Competition, RoyalAuto, 550 Princes Hwy, Noble Park North, VIC 3174.  Entries must be received by 5pm, 17 May 2013.
Email entries, which include all the details mentioned above, can be sent to royalauto@racv.com.au with Murray River Houseboat Competition in the subject line.

Willandra Houseboat Competition

1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of the conditions of entry.
2. Any RACV member who enters the competition by either sending their name, RACV membership number, address and daytime phone number and the name of three Willandra Houseboats to Murray River Houseboat Competition, RoyalAuto, 550 Princes Hwy Noble Park North, VIC 3174, by either post or emailing details mentioned above to royalauto@racv.com.au with Murray River Houseboat Competition in the subject line during the Promotion Period will be entered in the draw. Competition commences 6pm 22 April 2013 and closes 5pm on Friday, 17 May (the Promotion Period).
3. Competition entry is restricted to one entry per person.  Additional entries will result in the entrant being disqualified from the Competition.
4. This competition is won by chance and entrants are not judged on the quality of their entry.
5. All employees of the promoter or its related bodies corporate and the immediate families of such employees are ineligible to enter. The competition is restricted to residents of the State of Victoria.
6. Any eligible RACV member can enter the competition once only.
7. The draw will take place at 11am on Monday, 20 May at 550 Princes Hwy, Noble Park North, Victoria.
8. The prize is  two nights for six guests aboard the Classic super luxury spa houseboat valued at $2300, with the total prize pool worth $2300.
9. The first valid entry drawn will win the prize.
10. The terms and conditions from Willandra Houseboat are as follows:
a. The prize is valid for 12 months, and excludes periods during Victorian school holidays and Public Holidays. Dates are subject to availability.


b. A security bond in cash or credit card is payable on arrival. The bond on Classic is $1000. This bond is doubled for all male or all female crews. The bond is fully refundable (within 5 days after the end of hire), when the boat is returned on time, clean and in good
condition. Any damage will be taken out of the bond at cost.


c. An insurance waiver will be offered on boarding. This is purely optional. If it is not offered you may request to pay the insurance waiver. The amount is $35 per night, this limits the hirer to a maximum of $500 payable for damage to the houseboat in the case of an insurable incident. Otherwise the insurance excess payable is $2,500. This excludes minor breakages and damage under $500, and wilful or negligent damage. The decision on wilful or negligent damage will be made by houseboat management.


d. Bookings are accepted on the understanding that we will do all in our power to ensure the boat is available at that time. Should it be unavailable due to mechanical breakdown, unusual river conditions or other unforeseen circumstance, full payment will be refunded to the hirer. The company is not obligated to compensate the hirer for loss of time due to mechanical problems.


e. The number of people on board is limited to the number of berths by law. At least one member of the crew must be a responsible person over 21 years of age with a full driver's licence. The boat must be driven in daylight hours only. No pets, (except on specific houseboats by prior arrangement, conditions apply), no firearms, no driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. No smoking while on board any houseboat, a $200 cleaning fee will apply if this is not adhered to.


f. The fuel tank will be full when you board. Fuel used including diesel, unleaded and gas will be charged on your return.


g. Hire will commence at 3.00pm the first day and the boat is to be returned by 9.30am and disembarked by 10am on the last day.


h. The management reserve the right to refuse or terminate any hire without stating the grounds for refusal or termination.


11. The winner will be notified by telephone and /or mail and the winners details will be published in the July RoyalAuto and on royalauto.com.au.
12. Each prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or taken as cash.
13. The promoter’s decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. The promoter is RACV Sales & Marketing Pty Ltd ABN 11 005 258 702, 550 Princes Highway, Noble Park North, Victoria 3174.
15. The Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draw if necessary on Tuesday, 21 May at 11am in order to distribute any prize if unclaimed by that date.
