1.
Entry into the Competition Entry into the Renault “Megane Made for the Moment” competition (the “Competition”) is open to all residents of Australia 18 years or over. The Promoter is Vehicle Distributors Australia Pty Ltd, Ground Floor, 4 Nexus Court, Mulgrave VIC 3170 (ABN 11 073 668 596) (the “Promoter”). Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2.
The officers, management and employees (or immediate family of an officer, manager or employee) of the Promoter, the agencies associated with this Competition, and their related bodies corporate are not eligible to enter.

3.
Competition begins at 00:01 (AEST) on 17 July 2013 and closes at 23:59 (AEST) on 16 August 2013 (the “Competition Period”).

4.
To enter the Competition and be eligible to win, entrants must:
a.be an Australian resident over 18 years of age; and
b.Log onto www.madeforthemoment.com.au; and
c.Select one of three prize packs they wish to enter; and
d.complete the online entry form; and
e.be available to take the prize as stated, on the dates indicated in condition 8 of these Terms & Conditions

5.
All entries must include all mandatory information as indicated on the form, which includes (not limited to the entrant’s name, address, email address, daytime phone number (including area code) or mobile phone number (if applicable). Incomplete entries or those which, in the opinion of the Promoter, infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party, contain any objectionable content, profanity or is potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory will be ineligible to win the Prize. It is each entrant’s responsibility to inform the Promoter if his/her residential address, email address or phone number changes during the Competition Period.

6.
Only one entry per person per prize type is permitted for this Competition. The use of any automated software or any other mechanical or electronic means that permits the participant automatically to enter repeatedly is prohibited (“Repeat Entry Device”). If the Promoter reasonably believes that an entrant is using any Repeat Entry Device, the Promoter may disqualify that entrant without notice.

7.
Any entry that is made on behalf of an entrant by a third party will be invalid.


PRIZE CHOICES
8.
There are three (3) x Prizes to be won in total; each is valued at a maximum of $10,000:

Prize 1: 6-day Snow Experience
•Return Economy airfares for four (4) people from the Prize winner’s nearest Australian capital city to Albury or Melbourne based on flight availability (inclusive of airline taxes);
•Return transfers from the airport to Mount Hotham
•5 nights accommodation in the Schnapps 5 Apartment at Mt Hotham (Check in on 23 August 2013, Check out 28 August 2013); with
•Free lift passes, snow gear hire, ski lessons, dinner, drinks and food voucher throughout experience
•Exclusive use of a new Renault Wagon with petrol card

Prize 2: 3-day Theatre and Cultural Experience
•Return Economy airfares for two (2) people from the Prize winner’s nearest Australian capital city to Melbourne (inclusive of airline taxes);
•Return transfers from the airport to the hotel
•1 night twin-share accommodation in 5 Star Hotel of the Promoter’s choice in Melbourne (Check in on 23 August 2013, Check out 24 August 2013) with an evening to the Bell Shakespeare theatre
•Return transfers from Melbourne to the Yarra Valley Region
•2 night twin-share accommodation in 4 Star Hotel of the Promoter’s choice in Yarra Valley region (Check in on 24 August check out 25 August)
•Exclusive use of the new Megane Hatch with petrol card.

Prize 3: 3-day Culinary Experience
•Return Economy airfares for four (4) people from the Prize winner’s nearest Australian capital city to Melbourne (inclusive of airline taxes);
•Return transfers from the airport to the hotel
•2 nights twin-share accommodation in 5 Star Hotel of the Promoter’s choice in Melbourne (Check in on 6 September 2013, Check out 8 September 2013); and
•Exclusive cooking experience
•Breakfast, lunch & dinner throughout experience
•Exclusive use of the new Megane Wagon with petrol card.

9.
 The maximum Prize value of each Prize Choice is $10,000. The total Prizepool value is $30,000. Each Prize Choice value is the recommended values as provided by the supplier and is correct at the time of printing. The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any change in the value of the Prize occurring between publishing date and date the Prize is claimed. Prize values are in Australian dollars. If the winner’s Prize Choice is in their city of residence they will forfeit the airfare portion of the prize and no compensations will be given or paid in lieu.

10.
It is a condition of accepting any Prize Choice that the Prize winner must comply with any conditions of use of the Prize and the Prize supplier’s directions or requirements.

11.
The Prize chosen by the Winner is not transferable or redeemable for cash. The Prize or any element of the Prize cannot be exchanged for any other Prize or Prizes. The contents of the Prize will be at the Promoter’s sole discretion. The Prize is subject to availability and the terms and conditions of the entities supplying the Prize.

12.
If the Prize chosen by the Winner or any element thereof is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize for a Prize of equal or greater value, subject to State Regulation.

13.
Only three Prizes will be awarded.

14.
The Promoter makes no warranties or representations about the fitness for purpose or suitability of any element of the Prize chosen by the Winner and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness for any purpose of the Prize, or the failure of the Prize to be of merchantable quality.


DRAW AND AWARD OF PRIZE
15.
The Prize Winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received at MDSA, 15 Grosvenor Street, Neutral Bay, NSW 2089 at 14:00 (AEST) on 19 August 2013. The Prize winners will be notified by phone and in writing, and published in the Public Notices section of The Australian newspaper on 23 August 2013.

16.
The Promoter shall conduct such further draws as may be deemed necessary at MDSA, 15 Grosvenor Street, Neutral Bay, NSW 2089 on 26 August 2013 at 14:00 (AEST) to distribute any Prizes unclaimed by that date, subject to State Regulation. The redrawn winner of any unclaimed Prize will be notified by phone and in writing within two (2) days of the draw and will have their details published in the Public Notices section of The Australian newspaper on 28 August 2013


AGE

The Prize winners and their travel companions must be 18 years of age or over.

TRAVEL
17.
It is a condition of accepting the Prize is that the Prize winner and travel companions may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.

The Prize winner and travel companions are responsible for ensuring that they are able to travel to the relevant city in taking the chosen Prize. As a condition of entry, the Prize winner and their travel companions must not be subject to any restrictions on their rights to travel to and from the applicable cities. It is the responsibility of the Prize winner and their travel companion to check and comply with all applicable requirements.

The Prize winner and their travel companions must travel at the same time and depart from the same capital city and are responsible for transport from their respective residence to the airport at their nearest capital city for the flights.

18.
   It is the sole responsibility of the Prize winner and their travel companions to ensure that their personal travel documentation is valid and check with all government travel advisory authorities regarding travel requirements and eligibility. Any fines, penalties, payments and expenditure incurred as a result of not meeting such requirements are the sole responsibility of the Prize winner and their travel companions. Travel insurance is advisable for the Prize winner and their travel companions to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances, however, such arrangements are the sole responsibility of the Prize winner and their travel companions.

19.
   Airfare tickets are available on the regular scheduled services of the airline. Flight itineraries may have to be adjusted depending on the airline’s departure city and their current flight schedule. Frequent Flyer points are not available.

20.
   A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the Prize winner at check in to the hotel for any incidental charges, not included in the Prize.

21.
   The Prize winner is advised that tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the Prize and he/she should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of their prize.

22.
   It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Prize winner and his/her guests may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.

23.
   The Promoter and their associated agencies, make no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. It is the sole responsibility of the Prize winner and their travel companion to first check with all government travel advisory information regarding the safety and situation of the destination of their chosen destination/event.

24.
   The Promoter is not responsible for any cancellation, postponement, delay or rescheduling of transport, or any other unforeseeable circumstances which may prevent the Prize winner from taking the Prize (in whole or in part) and any costs incurred as a result. Including, without limitation, any ancillary accommodation costs will be the sole responsibility of the Prize winner.

25.
   The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow the Prize winner or one or more of their travel companions to take part in any or all aspects of the Prize chosen by the Winner, if the Promoter determines, in its absolute discretion, that a Prize winner or one or more of their travel companions are not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able safely to participate in the Prize.


GENERAL
26.
The Promoter reserves the right to request the Prize winner to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address, in order to claim the Prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that the Prize winner cannot provide suitable proof, the Prize winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.

27.
No responsibility will be taken by the Promoter, for any changes in dates, times or cancellations or other arrangements that may prevent the Prize winner from winning their Prize Choice.

28.
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the award of a Prize Choice to, and/or disqualify any individual who, as determined in the sole discretion of the Promoter, has engaged in unlawful or improper conduct that is designed to jeopardise the fair conduct of the Competition or includes any objectionable content, profanity or is potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify or cancel the award of a Prize Choice where it has determined that the individual has engaged in unlawful or improper conduct or where it has otherwise breached these terms and conditions subject to State Regulation.

29.
Subject to relevant state authority approval, the Promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, at any time before the awarding of a Prize Choice to cancel or vary the terms of the Competition or to vary or cancel the award of a Prize Choice, including, without limitation, circumstances where in the Promoter’s opinion (which it shall form in its absolute discretion):
a.a Prize winner does not satisfy the Competition entry requirements; or
b.the Promoter cannot conduct the Competition or award the Prize Choice for any reason beyond its control.

30.
Subject to relevant state authority approval, in the event that the Promoter cancels or varies the Competition or varies or withdraws a Prize Choice it shall not:
a.be liable to any person for any loss or damage (including loss or damage caused by any negligence) arising out of, or in connection with, such cancellation, variation or withdrawal; and
b.be required to conduct the Competition at any other time.

31.
If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any written direction given under State Regulation.

32.
Entries must be received by 23:59 (AEST) on 16 August 2013. No responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for any late, lost or misdirected entries. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt of the entry into the Promoter’s database and NOT time of transmission by the entrant. The Promoter will accept no responsibility for any delays to entry caused by technical disruptions or malfunctions. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for out-dated or incorrect contact details or contact details by which the entrant cannot be contacted during business hours on the relevant dates.

33.
A decision of the Promoter in relation to the conduct of the Competition is binding and conclusive and no correspondence will be entered into.

34.
Entrants enter the Competition at their sole risk. With the exception of liability which cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking the Prize or entering the Competition.

35.
All entries become the property of the Promoter and may be communicated to the public by the Promoter or used for promotional purposes, subject to the Promoter’s privacy policy which is available at http://www.renault.com.au/legalInfo. By entering the Competition, the Prize winner agrees to the use of their name, image, audio-visual recording and/or photograph/s, without compensation.

36.
Entrants are advised that “opt-in” entries will be entered into a database. The Promoter and/or (as applicable) third parties involved in promoting this Competition may use the entrant’s names, addresses and telephone numbers for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide and without notice and without any fee being paid unless otherwise advised by the entrant. By opting-in, entrants consent to and confirm that they allow their details to be used for this purpose. If entrants no longer consent to their details being used for future marketing purposes by the Promoter or wish to update, modify or delete their details should contact the Promoter directly on their details set out below. Entrants can also ‘opt in’ to have their personal information passed onto these third parties and/or to receive promotional information from third parties. If you do ‘opt in’, you agree that the storage and use of your personal information will be subject to the relevant privacy policies of those third parties and the Promoter will not be liable for any misuse of your personal information. If you later wish to ‘opt out’ of receiving third party information you will need to contact that third party directly.

37.
The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information (as that term is defined in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)) for the purpose of conducting and promoting this Competition (including, but not limited to, determining and notifying winners). Entrants are advised that their personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and their names as the winner may be published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. Entrants are also advised that from time to time, the Promoter may disclose your personal information to third parties (including, but not limited to, third party prize providers) for the purpose of administering prizes or for other purposes contemplated in these Terms and Conditions. For purposes of public statements and advertisements the Promoter will only publish the winner’s surname, initial and state. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter
