CALAMVALE CENTRAL SHOPPING CENTRE “EARN CASH FOR YOUR SCHOOL” COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. These official rules ("Rules") apply to the “Earn Cash for Your School” promotion (“Promotion”) conducted by YFG Shopping Centres Pty Ltd (ACN 056 974 844) as trustee of the Fu Family Trust (“Trust”) of c/- Retail First Pty Ltd, Sunnybank Plaza Shopping Centre, Cnr of Mains Road and McCullough Street, Sunnybank, Queensland (“Promoter”) for the Calamvale Central Shopping Centre (“Centre”).
2. Information on how to enter forms part of these Rules. The Promoter may, at any time, amend, add to or delete any of these Rules.
3. Entry is deemed acceptance of these Rules including any changes made by the Promoter, even if the entry is before the publication of any changes to these Rules.
4. The Promotion commences at 9:00 am on Monday 15 July 2013 and ends at 5:00 pm on Friday 23 August 2013 (“Promotion Period”).
Eligibility
5. To be eligible to enter the Promotion (and so be an “Entrant”) an individual must:
(a) be at least 18 years of age; and
(b) make a purchase (“Eligible Transaction”):
(i) of any goods or services, including (but not limited to):
a. gift vouchers; and
b. telephone, internet or mobile phone calling cards or credit vouchers; and
c. lay-by payments;
but which must not be:
d. deposits into banks, building societies or other financial institutions or payments on account of insurances and the like; and
(ii) of any value; and

(iii) at any Retailer; and

(iv) during the Promotion Period.
A “Retailer” refers to all retailers in the Centre including a Major Store or a Fresh Food Retailer.
A “Major Store” refers to the Big W, Woolworths and Woolworths Petrol Plus stores in the Centre.
A “Fresh Food Retailer” refers to the SK Butcher, Wicked Wings, Pure Health & Beauty, Troppos Fruit Market & Deli and Calamvale Central Bakery stores in the Centre.
6. The Promoter, Retail First Pty Ltd, retailers of the Centre and their respective officeholders, employees, agents, contractors, and their Immediate Family Members are not eligible to be Entrants.
An “Immediate Family Member” means any spouse, child, de facto spouse or any other family member residing at the same premises as that person.
7. An Eligible Transaction must be evidenced by a “Valid Receipt”, being an original official receipt from a Retailer that clearly shows:
(a) the time and date the Eligible Transaction was made;
(b) the value of the Eligible Transaction (“Receipt Value”); and
(c) the trading name of the Retailer at which the Eligible Transaction was made.
8. Despite being eligible to enter the Promotion, Entrants are not eligible to win a “Prize” (see Rule 19).
9. Only the Eligible Schools are eligible to win a Prize.
“Eligible School” means (and is limited to) the following schools:
(a) Calamvale Community College;
(b) Stretton State College;
(c) SunnybankStateSpecialSchool;
(d) Sunnybank State School;
(e) Sunnybank State High School;
(f) St Stephen’s Catholic Primary School; and
(g) Acacia Ridge State School.
Entry
10. The Receipt Value determines the number of points (“Entry Points”) the Entrant can claim for the Valid Receipt. Each dollar (rounded up to the nearest dollar) of the Receipt Value is equal to one Entry Point.
11. An Entrant can claim 20 additional Entry Points (“Bonus Points”) if the Valid Receipt shows that the Eligible Transaction was made:
(a) between 5:00pm and 9:00pm on any Thursday during the Promotion Period; or
(b) on any Sunday during the Promotion Period; or
(c) at a Fresh Food Retailer at any time during the Promotion Period.
12. An Entrant can claim double the number of Bonus Points (40 Bonus Points) if the Valid Receipt shows that the Eligible Transaction was made at a Fresh Food Retailer either:
(a) between 5:00pm and 9:00pm on any Thursday during the Promotion Period; or
(b) on any Sunday during the Promotion Period.
13. To be a “Valid Entry”, an Entrant’s Valid Receipt must be submitted in person by the Entrant to the Promoter’s representative at the Centre’s management office during the Promotion Period.
14. Each Valid Receipt may only be submitted once as a Valid Entry in accordance with these Rules.
15. A Valid Entry entitles the Entrant to nominate an Eligible School to benefit from the Entry Points (including any Bonus Points) that the Entrant is entitled to claim for the Valid Entry in accordance with these Rules.
16. On submission of a Valid Entry in accordance with these Rules, the Promoter’s representative at the Centre’s management office will:
(a) stamp, sign or otherwise mark the Valid Entry;
(b) return the Valid Entry to the Entrant; and
(c) record the Entry Details in an electronic spreadsheet.
“Entry Details” include:
(a) the following details as shown on the Valid Entry:
(i) the time and date the Eligible Transaction was made;
(ii) the Receipt Value; and
(iii) the trading name of the Retailer at which the Eligible Transaction was made; and
(b) the number of Entry Points (including any Bonus Points) relating to the Valid Entry; and
(c) the Eligible School nominated by the Entrant to benefit from the Entry Points (including any Bonus Points) relating to the Valid Entry.
17. Entrants may only nominate one Eligible School for each Valid Entry to benefit from the Entry Points (including any Bonus Points) relating to the Valid Entry.
18. Entrants may enter the Promotion as many times as they wish, provided these Rules are complied with.
Prize Pool
19. The total available prize pool for the Promotion is (as at the commencement of the Promotion Period and subject to variation) AUD $6,900 comprising of:
(a) a cheque for each of the First Place Cash Prize, Second Place Cash Prize and Third Place Cash Prize; and
(b) Gift vouchers for the amount of each Consolation Prize redeemable at Woolworths or Big W,
(each being a “Prize”):

Tally of Entry Points and Winners
20. Tallies of the Entry Points (including any Bonus Points) benefiting each Eligible School after Reconciliation (“Tallies”) will be published on the Centre’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/calamvalecentral (“Facebook Page”) during the Promotion Period.
“Facebook” means www.facebook.com or Facebook, Inc. as the case may be.
“Reconciliation” means dividing the total Entry Points (including any Bonus Points) recorded by the
number of students at the Eligible School as per the table below.

21. The Tallies will be updated on the Facebook Page on the Friday of each week during the Promotion Period.
22. In order to view the Tallies on the Facebook Page, an individual must:
(a) be or become a Liker or Fan of the Facebook Page; and
(b) access the Facebook Page and click on the tab that relates to the Promotion.
“Like” means to click on the “like” button for the Facebook Page within the Facebook platform and “Liked” has a corresponding meaning.
“Liker” or “Fan” means a Facebook user who has Liked the Facebook Page and includes Facebook users who have Liked the Facebook Page prior to the commencement of the Promotion Period and those who Like the Facebook Page during the Promotion Period.

23. The Promoter’s representative will count the final Tallies (“Final Tallies”) at the Centre’s
management office at 5:00pm on Friday 23 August 2013 (“Count”).
24. The three Eligible Schools with the highest Final Tallies (each being a “Winning School”) will respectively win the First Place Cash Prize, Second Place Cash Prize and Third Place Cash Prize specified in Rule 19.
25. Representatives from the Winning Schools need not attend the Count in order to claim the Prize.
26. Representatives from the Winning Schools will be notified by email or telephone.
27. The Promoter’s representative will attend a student assembly at each Winning School at a mutually convenient date and time within 3 months after the Count to deliver the Prize.
28. If a mutually convenient date and time for the delivery of the Prize cannot be arranged to take place within 3 months after the Count, a representative from the Winning School must collect the Prize from the Centre’s management office. If the Prize is not collected within 3 months after the Count, then the Winning School will forfeit the Prize.
29. If the Winning School forfeits the Prize under Rule 28 the Prize will be dealt with under the Charitable and Non-Profit Gaming Act 1999 (regardless of whether or not that Act applies).
30. All participating individuals acknowledge that the names of the Winning Schools will be published on the Facebook Page and the Centre Website after calculation of the Final Tallies.
Use and Redemption of Consolation Prizes
31. Each Consolation Prize referred to in Rule 19:
(a) (b)
(c)
is not transferrable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash;
is valid for use or redemption only until 31 October 2013, after which it will expire and be forfeited;
must be redeemed at the Retailer of the Centre specified on the voucher comprising the Consolation Prize or otherwise in the manner and on the terms and conditions specified on the voucher comprising the Consolation Prize; and
32. Any complaints about goods or services purchased or redeemed using a Consolation Prize must be resolved directly with the service provider or Retailer who supplied the goods or services.
33. The winners are responsible for the use and safety of their Consolation Prize. The Promoter is not liable for any lost or stolen Consolation Prize and no replacement Consolation Prize will be issued.
General
34. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to all relevant State and Federal laws), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion.
35. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all aspects of the Promotion is final and binding on all participating individuals and no correspondence will be entered into.
36. The Promoter and Facebook will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death which is suffered (including but not limited to that arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with the Promotion and/or any aspect of a Prize, except any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
37. The Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook.
38. All participating individuals are responsible for any taxation liability (including any GST) or other government charges or reporting requirements arising from their participation in the Promotion or receipt of a Prize (if any). If participation in the Promotion or receipt of a Prize involves a taxable supply being made, then the participating individual is responsible for paying any amount charged by the entity making the supply in respect of its GST liability on the supply. The Promoter does not offer any advice or accept any responsibility with respect to these matters.
39. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information in connection with the Promotion is governed by the Promoter’s privacy notice (which is available from the Promoter) and these Rules. To change or modify personal details on the Promoter’s records, please contact the Promoter.
40. All participating individuals acknowledge that their personal information is being provided to the Promoter and not to Facebook.
41. All participating individuals agree (if required) to have their name and photograph used for advertising purposes and/or to take part in promotional activities including, without limitation, being interviewed by television, radio and/or other mediums for public broadcast.
42. The Promoter reserves the rights, trademarks and copyrights of the Promotion and all artwork, images and print copy associated with the Promotion.
43. The Promoter enters into this Promotion only in its capacity as trustee of the Trust and in no other capacity. A liability of the Promoter arising under or in connection with this Promotion is limited to the amount the Promoter actually receives in the exercise of its right of indemnity from the property of the Trust.
44. The Promoter may not be sued in any capacity other than as the trustee of the Trust, including seeking the appointment of a receiver (except in relation to property of the Trust), a liquidator, an administrator or any similar person to the Promoter or prove in any liquidation, administration or arrangement of or affecting the Promoter (except in relation to property of the Trust).
