TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. About the Competition

1.1 The "Share Your Memories” of Rawson Homes" competition ("Competition") is administered by Rawson Homes Pty Ltd, ABN: 67 053 733 841.

1.2 No purchase or entry fee is required to enter or win the Competition. However, entering the Competition involves browsing on the Rawson Homes Pty Ltd Facebook page and you may therefore incur data charges from your internet services provider.

1.3 Rawson Homes Pty Ltd reserves the right to cancel or change the Competition and/or amend these Terms and Conditions without notice in the event there is an actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside Rawson Homes Pty Ltd reasonable control.

1.4 It is a condition of entry that competitors agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

1.5 In the event of any dispute regarding these Terms and Conditions, the conduct, results and all other matters relating to the Competition, the decision of Rawson Homes Pty Ltd shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.

1.6. Entry is open to permanent residents of NSW and the ACT (Australia). Employees of the promoter and their associated agencies and companies and their families are ineligible to enter.

2. Entries

2.1 Entrants are asked to submit

(i) a minimum of two photos of their home/family life in their home on the Rawson Homes Facebook page

(ii) in 50 words or more, state a memory from the building of their Rawson home

(iii) Preferrably a family who have had a great experience with Rawson Homes and are happy to advocate it

(iv) Only one entry per person/home is allowed

(v) Must have built the home with Rawson Homes and is the home entered.  It does not have to be your last place of residence.  For example it may have been the family home growing up.

2.1A Rawson Homes reserves the rights to confirm ownership and relationship of each entrant in relation to the submitted ‘home’ entry. If the subsequent person who provided the entry is proven to have no ownership or immediate family relationship ties to the home entered they will be removed from the competition.

We also encourage video submissions of their home life/home build.

2.2 By entering the Competition, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. Rawson Homes Pty Ltd reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants. Rawson Homes Pty Ltd reserves the right to remove all submitted entries if these instructions are not followed and/or if a participant is found to have cheated. Further, Rawson Homes Pty Ltd reserves the right not to award a prize (and to select an alternative winner) if Rawson Homes Pty Ltd is aware or has reasonable grounds to believe a winner is not eligible.

2.3 Rawson Homes Pty Ltd takes no responsibility for lost or misdirected entries.

2.4 Entrants must be 12 years or over.

2.5. Competitors are only eligible to enter once. However there is no restriction to the number of times the life of the photos/videos are played.

2.6 The entry that is submitted onto the Rawson Homes Facebook competition page and is thereby granting the content property of Rawson Homes. Rawson Homes may store content for future endeavours and use at leisure without seeking permissions or consent from original source.

2.7 The promoter reserves the right to request verification of identity, residential address of winners at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity. Verification is at the promoter’s discretion, whose decision is final. The promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way with interfering or tampering with the conduct or integrity of the promotion.

2.8 The promotion commences 9am AEST17th April 2013 and entries close 5pm AEST 16th of August 2013.

2.9 The winners of the competition will be announced 9am-5.30pm AEST 22nd August 2013 from Rawson Homes 34/11-21 Underwood road Homebush, NSW 2140.


3. Prizes

3.1 The “Share Your Memories” Prize Pool Consists of:

First prize

 • 10 x $350.00 Westfield XS Gift Cards. Total of AUD$3,500.00

Spot prizes for each week of the competition, maximum of 2 per week.

 • AUD$35 Westfield XS gift vouchers.
 

3.2 Prizes will be delivered in the form of a Westfield XS Gift Card to the entrant’s nominated address.

3.3 The prize is unable to be redeemed for cash, credit and not transferrable and not to be sold.  The winning entry/entries will be determined by Rawson Homes and announced and notified online at the Rawson Homes Facebook competition page.

3.4 Prize pack is final and cannot be altered.

3.5 Participants can only win one spot prize during the term of the Competition.

3.6 Participants can only win one first prize as pre-mentioned gift card in the Competition.

Rawson Homes Pty Ltd does not accept any responsibility for variations in the value of the prize awarded.

3.8 We will contact winners directly via Facebook, telephone or email no later than 2 days of the Competition winners announcement. Winners will be deemed to have received our Facebook post, message or email within 24 hours of sending. Winners must reply to this post, message or email to claim their prize. If a prize is not claimed in time, a new winner will be selected and the first winner will have forfeited their right to receive a prize.


4. Data Protection

4.1 Personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with national data protection legislation of the participant's country of residence.

4.2 By entering the Competition, you explicitly confirm that you consent to your personal data being held by Rawson Homes Pty Ltd in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your personal data may be processed by Rawson Homes, the Rawson Group Pty Ltd company in your country and third party suppliers to the Rawson Group, such as our marketing agencies.

4.3 Please note that Rawson Homes Pty Ltd reserves the right to use the names of winners for publicity purposes.

 

5. Miscellaneous

5.1 By participating in this Competition you agree to accept these Terms & Conditions for the Competition.

5.2 Rawson Homes Pty Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Furthermore, Rawson Homes Pty Ltd reserves the right to extend, change or terminate the Competition at any time.

 

6. How to contact us

6.1 You can contact us in relation to the Competition by writing a letter to Rawson Homes Pty Ltd, P.O. Box 3904 North Strathfield NSW 2137.

6.2 Nothing shall exclude Rawson Homes Pty Ltd liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under law. Rawson Homes Pty Ltd does not otherwise accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants of the Prize Draw or as a result of losing or accepting any prize.

6.3 Rawson Homes Pty Ltd is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet, or any website, or any combination of these, including any injury or damage to entrants or any other persons computer or mobile phone relating to or resulting from participation in the Prize Draw.
