COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
 
1.Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2.Competition opens Thursday 5th September 2013 and closes Friday 20th September 2013.
3.To enter, simply answer the question "What DC character would you most like to see Robot Chicken re-imagine – and why?" in 25 words or less. No purchase is necessary to enter this competition.
4.This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on literary and creative merit of the answer provided to the question.
5.Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over only.
6.Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, and employees and immediate families of agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
7.Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) each entry must be substantially unique; and (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.
8.The best valid entry, as determined by the judges, will win 2 tickets to see Robot Chicken Live at Graphic Festival at the Sydney Opera House, Friday 4th October at 8:00pm. If the winner does not reside in Sydney or nearby and requires flights and accommodation in order to attend the Robot Chicken Live show, two return airfares from the nearest capital city to Sydney and accommodation for two nights (4th and 5th October), for two people (twin share) in Sydney will also form part of this prize. The winner will also receive a pack including Robot Chicken Seasons 1-5, Robot Chicken Star Wars Trilogy and Robot Chicken DC on DVD.
9.Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. Airline and accommodation location is at the discretion of the Promoter. Winner may be required to present credit card at time of accommodation check in. Any extension to the duration of the prize or any variation to the accommodation or tickets booked by the promoter is at the winner's sole expense and time.
10.The Prize package does not include travel insurance, passports, visas, meals, drinks, sightseeing (outside of specified prize) additional nights or upgrades, laundry charges, incidentals, medical expenses, gratuities, service charges, telephone calls, items of a personal nature, taxes, ground transportation or any other costs of a personal nature not stated. Compliance with passport, any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the winner and their travel companion. It is the responsibility of the winner to enquire about local issues and conditions at destinations prior to travel.
11.The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
12.If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
13.If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.
14.Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified. If a travel prize or part of a travel prize cannot be provided for any reason, then the Promoter reserves the right to provide an alternative travel prize or part of a travel prize to the same value as that part of the prize being replaced.
15.If for any reason a winner does not take an element of the prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited.
16.All contestants release from, and indemnify the Promoter and those in conjunction with the Promoter against, all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize or participation in the competition including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.
17.If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
18.The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
